A Figment Of My Imagination

Ok... so my life has been a little upside down lately. Let me start from the beginning. It all started when I was seven years old. I was driving home with my dad and my brother when we almost hit a car. It was speeding and turned the corner quickly and almost hit us. Before it even happened I felt this weird sensation where it almost felt like I could move the car if I wanted to. I clapped my hands softly and the car quickly shifted and we were able to pass. Once we got home, my dad went straight to the bathroom and cried. My brother came up to and kept on saying that it was a miracle that we survived. I am the only one that knows that I have magical abilities. 2 years into the future, I am in fourth-grade getting used to my new school. Since I was new, I thought nobody was going to know my past. My classroom was way bigger than my olds schools classroom. There were three rows of seats in the class and my teacher told me to sit in the back next to this kid named Shaun. little did I know that this was going to my best friend. I sat down and Shaun quickly wanted to start a conversation. Shaun stated, "Hey aren't you the new kid. I know this, might sound weird but do you want to sit with me at lunch. I kinda have no friends."

I smiled and shook my head to both questions. That day, I saw the biggest smile ever, even to this day. Anyway, Lunch came and pulled my hand to the lunch line to get food. My old school's food was really bad, they would serve us mash potatoes that were as hard as a rock. Shaun told me that the food was bad there and I quickly frowned. we came up to the stand with the food and my face lit up with joy. Shaun looked at me like I was crazy. On the stand, there were burgers, burritos, and even pizza. I quickly grabbed the
