BEAM POV
I sighed and looked one more time at myself in the mirror.
Forth says that I spend to much time in the bathroom, but I honestly don't believe him, but that's besides the point.
I had to make sure I looked nice a presentable.
Forth is taking me to the gear ceremony so he can introduce me to everyone as his boyfriend.
I'm nervous and I knew there would be girls who were gonna flirt with him. So, I had put on one of Forth's shirts and his cologne.
"Beam, you ready?" Forth called from the kitchen. I sighed and walked out of the bathroom. "Beam? Are you st-" He stopped in his tracks when he saw me. He looked me over and smiled wide.
"What?" I asked. He smiled and shook his head.
He walked to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
I rubbed his upper arms, feeling the strong muscles under his shirt.
"Nothing. It's just that you look really nice. Especially in my shirt." He said looking down at it. I smiled.
"Well, I gotta make sure that those girls know that you are mine." I said kissing his cheek. Forth laughed and shook his head.
"I think it's the other way around. You're mine." He said kissing my lips. I smiled against him and pat his shoulder.
"Same difference." I said shrugging and pulling away from him. He laughed and grabbed our jackets.
The drive to the beach, where the ceremony was, took about half an hour. Forth and I listened to music most of the time.
When we arrived, Forth got out first and came to open the door for me. I smiled and jumped out of the car.
"Why, aren't you just the gentleman tonight?" I teased. Forth's cheeks turned red and he looked down.
"I'm always like this to you." He said kissing my cheek. I scoffed and pushed him slightly.
"Not in front of everybody." I said blushing slightly. Forth laughed and looked around.
"No one's here yet." He said pulling me into his arms and kissing him.
I smiled into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Oh. My. God." Forth and I both pulled away at the sound of someone's voice.
"Cake? What are you doing here so early?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck.
She laughed and held up a small cardboard box.
"The last of the candles." She said. Forth nodded and looked at me.
"Cake, this is" Forth started, but was interrupted by Cake who ran up to me.
"Beam, right? Forth told me about you. It's nice to meet you." She said shaking my hand. I smiled shyly.
"He told you about me?" I asked. She nodded and smiled to Forth.
"After I sort of asked him out." She said laughing. I tilted my head and looked at Forth.
"Oh really?" I asked. She nodded again and let go of my hand.
"I have to go put the candles out. I'll be back." She said picking the box back up and leaving.
"Look, she didn't really ask me out. She just kind of implied it. I immediately told her that I had a boyfriend." He explained wrapping his arms around my waist again. I smiled and patted his shoulder.
"I'm not mad." I said shrugging. It was the truth. He tilted his head.
"Really?" He asked. I nodded.
"I can't deny that you're cute. And I know that neither can other people. You're attractive. I know I can't stop everyone who sees you from coming up to you, so I might as well accept that. I know you're my boyfriend and I know you love me. That's all that matters." I said. Forth smiled and kissed me.
"I love you, Beam." He said. I smiled and hugged him.
"I love you, Forth."
