When I lay on my big bed that night and I shut my eyes I felt something I hadn't felt for a long time, peace. It felt nice to not have to worry about anything and Catrin and Poppy were fading into my mind like a smudged blur in the back of my mind. I soon felt my eyelids getting heavy and I let myself fall into a deep sleep.

The next day Mani came in carrying a big cup of creamy mocha and buttery toast and woke me up. I smiled, still groggy with sleep, and swung my legs off the side of the bed and made my way to the bathroom. I had a quick shower and got dressed into skinny jeans and a tight white top. I drank my coffee and ate my toast and went into the living room to see Mani dancing to some cheesy song and Mimi reading what looked like a twilight book, from the look of the book it wasn't the first time she had read them.

"Morning!" They both chime

"Morning!" I say and smile "do you know when I start training? " I ask.

"Sure! I can take you," Mani says "coming?" She asks as she bounds over to the door. I follow her smiling at Mimi on the way out. Mani lead me down to the field where Nina left me the previous day. She took me over to a pretty young woman who looked no older than 20 years old.

"Hey Sky," Mani said. The woman turned around. She was quite tall with long waist length hair that was coco brown that had blue streaks in it. She was wearing black cotton shorts with a black tight vest top that showed off her figure. Her eyes were big and brown with grey flecks in them that would've made any other person seem dull but it made her striking and dangerous.

"Hey," she said "so is this the pure blood! Ok well, hey. My name is Sky and I will be your trainer for air and water element,"

"Um, cool. My name is Clara and I am 14 in a few days," I say nervously "when do I start training?" I ask.

"Now!" Sky says to me. She lead me over to one of the buckets and points at it. "Lift the water," she instructed. I bent down and cupped my hands in the water and raised my hands.

"Does this count?" I ask cockily. Sky looks at my hands and back at my face. Then she raises one of her fingers and flicks it in my direction. Suddenly a splash of water encounters my face and I am left with a wet face and an empty hand.

"No, it doesn't count!"Sky says smiling "now lift the water with your mind!" She orders. I look down at the bucket and lift my hands up, I imagine the water lifting up into the air and the aqua liquid appears in my eye level.  I smile and lift it higher into the air, above my head. I imagine it looping and thinning out into a ring of water, and it does so. I look at it in the air and then use my hands to guide it back into the bucket. Once it is back in the bucket I look up at Sky, she is looking at me with some approval. We spent hours just lifting water and once we were done I couldn't wait to get back home. I walked through the forest and looked up at all of the trees, because I wasn't looking where I was going I didn't see the vine under the leaves and I tripped over falling flat onto my face. I tried to get up but one of my legs had got itself wedged under a vine and I couldn't pull it free. Then I heard running footsteps that stop next to my motionless body.

"Um, hello?" A voice says. I turn my eyes towards the voice and see a boy standing there. He was tall with big blue eyes and a worried expression. He looked kind but I didn't know if I could trust him. I made a small noise that makes the boy sink to his knees and brush a lock of my hair out of my eyes.

"Im, um. Im kinda stuck," I say sheepishly. He smiles and puts his hands over the vine that had coiled around both of my legs and that was starting to snake around my waist. He shut his eyes and lifted his hands up, the vine followed him and fell off my body leaving my lying on the floor of the forest covered in leaves and mud. I sat up and tried to brush myself down. The boy hopped to his feet and offered me his hand. I took it and got up.

"Hi im Daniel!" He says and smiles at me. His teeth are straight and white. "And you are Clara, the new pureblood who Nina doesn't really like!" He says happily. I smile even though his words sting.

"so where are you staying?" he asks

"um this way," I say leading him back to the cabin. "ok so I will see you tomorrow!" I say. I smile at him

"goodbye Clara," he says. I slip inside the house and shut the door, the only thing on my mind right now was dinner.
