Natasha's POV

Tuesday is just a normal day and we still don't know who our English teacher is, all I know is that our teacher's name is Mr. Gray. I asked a different English teacher. So Wednesday comes and today doesn't go well.

I wake up to my mum and grandma arguing about me. Great just what I needed. I head downstairs to see what's going on.

"She's not going to live with her brother." my mum shouts at my grandma.

"Who are you to decide that." my grandma fires back at her.

"Her mum."

"Mum. You've never been a mum to her," my grandma scoffs a bit.

"Don't you ever say that. I have raised her for 18 years." My mum starts to cry. Here goes the emotional blackmailing again.

"Raised me. You must be joking, Grandma had raised me not you, you were to busy drinking and sleeping around with different men. Who gave you the right to decide that I can't live with Cole. You were never a mum to me." I jump in. I mean who gave her the right to decide that. She's always treated me like dirt.

Before I knew it my mum smacked me around the face.

"See what I mean?" I ask her. " You were never my mum," my grandma stands in front of me as a shield.

"Just leave now." my grandma says to me.

"But.."

"No buts I don't want you to be late for college," she says. "I can handle your mum."

My mum looks right at me, which makes me uncomfortable.

"She's not going anywhere." she finally says after a few seconds.

"Just go," my grandma whispers. I nod my head and walk out from the living room, but I'm immediately stopped by my mum who grips my wrist hard.

"Let go of me," I demand. I twist my hand, trying to get out of her grip.

"I don't want you to go to college."

Okay now I'm getting pissed, I'm going to be late I thought to myself. I finally manage to free myself from my mum's grip. How do you ask? I bit her hand.

By the time I get to school, I'm already late. I walk into my Maths class and make up some excuse my grandma was sick, so I had to help her out a bit. I say to Mrs Carter, thankfully she lets me off but she gives me a strict warning. The rest of Maths goes pretty slowly and I can't get the morning incident out of my head.

At lunch, I sit next to Veronica and some of her other friends, which I don't really like or talk too much. There's Jack, (who I've had a crush on since last year) Amelia (whose currently dating Joe), Lily ( she's one of Amelia's bitches) Joe ( whose with Amelia and is really close to Jack) and there other people sitting with us who I don't pay attention to.

"I hear that the English teacher is fit," Veronica says to the group.

"Oh, he is. Trust me" Lily laughs.

I don't pay to what everyone saying.

"Hey, are you okay?" Jack whispers to me. OMG DID JACK JUST ASK IF I WAS OKAY. STAY CALM AND ACT NATURAL I think to myself.

"Yeah, just a bit tired," I pretend to yawn so he believes me.

"Tasha, are you excited for our last period of the day?" Veronica sequels.

"Why would I be excited?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"Have you not been listening to what any of us have been saying?" Lily asks.
