The Beginning

Zahara's POV

My heart pounded as the plane arrived in the Airport. I never never knew Los Angeles  was this beautiful. I am starting a new life away from my past. But I know he is here that's  why I decided to come here to set things right what if he's  married I mean it's  been sixteen  years. I was snapped  back to reality by the giggles of two little girls with their mother they probably  came to welcome their father. I smiled they looked so cute.
I waited for the driver to come pick me up I decide d to call my best friend Yolanda. Yolanda has been my best friend for the past eighteen years we went to oxford university  at London we both studied  pediatrics, after school we worked in the same hospital at Moscow, Russia. She left Russia three years ago to America she got a job at a famous hospital. So we have been communicating on Skype ever since.. These past years had been boring without  her. I'm so glad I get to work with her and see her again well she actually helped me get a job here I don't know how but I will ask her later I really can't wait to see her. My dad is a Russian and my Mom is an American from New jersey  precisely. Yolanda's nationality  is just like mine but the opposite  her dad is an American and her mom is a Russian her dad abandoned  them so that's  why  she lived in Russia. Well she looks so much like her dad so she got the American look while I got the Russian look. I took out my phone from my bag and dialed her number. It rang twice before she picked. "Yollie!!!! " I screeched earning weird looks from the people around I quickly composed myself. "Zahra!!! " Yollie yelled from the other end the line. "Has the driver  arrived yet? ". "Nope he hasn't  and I am so tired can you call  him and tell him to hurry up please " I replied  tiredly I was so exhausted. "Ok. Just wait a little while longer ok? " "alright "I replied and the line went dead.
