As Hannah walked down the street with her mom, she started hopping and skipping, waiting for something exciting to happen. "Could you please stop skipping? Your giving attraction to us. You know how I feel about that..." Olivia said as she looked over at Hannah with a slim grin. "Sorry mommy, I'm just really bored. Why do we have to go on daily walks anyways? It's so boring..." Hannah said with her hair in front of her face. "Well, we do this because... The house has been bothering us lately, so I thought some time away from the house would be better for me, and you. And plus, its good for you to be outside. All those vitamins from the sun!" "What the heck is a vitamin?" "Language! Where did you learn that word?!" "Auntie was saying it a lot when she was calling someone on the phone. Are you mad at me for repeating her language?..." "Could you please, not repeat her language? Because I swear to god..." "Mommy, now you're using bad language!" "Sorry, Hannah, I'll stop..."
As Olivia and Hannah reached the park, close to 16 kids were playing on the playset. "Look at all those kids! I want them to be my friends!" Hannah said as she raced towards the playset with all the other children. The parents were sitting on a bench, a couple of meters away from the playset. They were all watching their children, playing happily together. the parents were 20, or over. but definitely younger than 40. "Hi! I'm Hannah! Wanna be my friend?" Hannah said as all the children playing stopped and looked at her. "We don't know you..." A random 8-year-old said as he started whispering to the others around him. Hannah watched them whisper, trying to listen to what they were saying. "Should we accept... Let's go home..." They all whispered. All the children left the playset and went to their parents.
On Hannahs and Olivia's way home, Hannah looked behind her and saw the kids watch her leave the park. "Why didn't they want to be my friend?..." Hannah asked, with her head down low. "Well, this is the first time they have seen you, and sometimes kids get nervous around strangers," Olivia said with a smile. Hannah continued walking, constantly peeking back behind her to see the kids. Once they turned a corner, Hannah peeked behind her once more, not seeing the kids in her sight. She sighed with relief, as she continued walking with her mother to their house.
Olivia opened the front door of the building, getting chills up her spine, once more. She closed the door as fast as she could, to keep the heat inside the house. "Let's get you to bed, Hannah..." Olivia said, walking towards the long, tall staircase. "But I didn't eat dinner yet!" "You'll eat dinner in the morning, tomorrow. Mommy needs a rest for a bit. I need to be up and ready for work tomorrow." "But I'm hungry! My stomach is gonna be so mad! That's it... I'm... I'm hangry! I can't live without dinner!" "I said, you can have it in the morning! Now march towards your room!" "F-Fine..." Hannah ran straight to her room, not making any sounds on the way. She stomped into her room, plopping down on her bright pink bed.
"Why isn't mommy letting me have any dinner tonight..." Hannah growled, grabbing her blanket. She tried to go to sleep, but she was terrified for some reason. She got back up off her bed, and walked over to all her toys and dolls she got last Christmas. Hannah played with her LOL dolls for at least, 2-3 hours. Then something black swished from the left to the right of the room, at the speed of light. Hannah quickly turned around, seeing nothing but her bed and her window...
