Times really goes fast when you only focus on your life and trying to forget about the past ... and sometime it goes slow when you are alone ...
Yumi Sachiko ... one of my very close friends and one who I fall in love with ... She's gone ... disappear without a reason to say ... left me without a proper goodbye ...
But it's doesn't matter anymore, she's already gone and I might as well move on.
Now I start a new life and a new job to start with.
I'll be working on the ads company which is once our dream but I guess I'll be doing it solo, anyway, I feel I'm much confident in this field of work, since in high school. I'm a clever student and mostly I could do a lot on my own in any situation I'm in. Either school work or life.
I'm going to introduce myself again, my name is Kazuki Nakarima and I've long finished my high school day but I didn't continue on to study for college but instead I get a job now and I'm looking forward to build the life I ever wanted. A dream I wish to fulfilled.
As I arrive in front of the building what's suppose to be where I'm going to work, it had quite interesting view how the shape of the building is, it's so-so to my liking or not.
It's sometime feeling kind of weird going back here again but not as a student anymore. Before I can just laze around since I'm just a student for a month here due to school stuff that's what my ex teacher instructs us to do. To observe how the adult work.
Well now, I'm an adult, if I made a lot of mistakes on my job, I might get fired that's what they say during my interview.
Back to work, I should inform myself to my superior on arriving here and I'm sure she has a lot of tasks to give it to me.
(I arrive at her office)
(I greet her) me: Good morning, Mrs ...
Forgot to tell you, readers. My superior is my senpai. Well, ex, senpai. Maki Sakura.
Again, as I greet her.
Me: Good morning, Mrs Maki Sakura.
Maki: Oh, good morning to you too, Mrs Nakarima and welcome to our company. Just call me, Maki.
Me: Thank you Mrs Maki and may I know who'll be guiding me and showing me around. If you don't mind?
Maki: Well, Mrs Yumi Sachiko will be the one who in charge of taking care of you for now. She might be the similar age like yourself and maybe you might know her.
What? Yumi Sachiko? No that can't be possibly her right? But it might be just coincidence with the same like her. Maybe it's someone who isn't her.
Me: Alright then, where should I meet her, Mrs Maki?
Maki: She will be here shortly for now. Just follow me. I'll take you to your office where you guys can work together on the new project. But first let not be too formal with each other, Kazuki.
Well I guess it's okay since she's my senpai.
Me: Alright Maki.
Maki: Good to hear that. Now.
Arrive at the office where I'm going to work with Yumi. I do love the style in the room. It had a white wall and Maki did told me I can put my own posters there but first I should decide to talk with Yumi first before I do.
Maki: Well here we are, your office and also, I already text Yumi that you are already here. So, wait for her and do your best. I'll be going now and tell me tomorrow on how you doing today. Good day, Kazuki.
Me: Good day to you too, Maki. I'll see you again tomorrow.
(10 Minutes later)
I heard someone open the door and decided I should check it out. It might be Yumi and I hope so much it's not the person who I think it is. If it were her. I might be in full god mode and asks her this question I've been dying to ask her all those years.
"Why did she disappear without telling me anything?"
Yumi: Hello there
Me: Hello
Yumi: What's your name?
Me: My name is Kazuki Nakarima and yours?
I can see she might not be Yumi who I knew. I'm not sure, since it's been long I haven't seen her but I need to be sure. Maybe her last name is different? Maybe it's not her?
Yumi: My name Yumi Sachiko.
What! It's the same name.
Me: Are you, Yumi? Yumi who went to Sunrise High School with me?
Yumi: Yes, that's me, Kazuki. I've missed you. I never thought I would be seeing you again.
Me: Yumi, why did you disappear that day?
Yumi: Sorry, maybe another time. Okay?
Yumi ... all this time. I'm so worry about you and decided to let you go for good but now here you are in front of me ... I feel like an idiot but I guess I'll wait for her to tell her reason when she feel alright with it.
Me: Okay
Yumi: Let's talk about work, Kazuki.
Me: So, what's it about?
Yumi: Yes well. I've been meaning to ask you myself. Let's work and figure out together.
Huh? Yumi. You're kidding me ... She hasn't changed at all. I thought she would change after the years now but well. That's Yumi alright. She can't surprise anyone even for me.
Yumi: So, let's turn on the PC and get our self-started working on it.
I turn the computer on and when it started on, it's asked me about the password. So, I turn to look at Yumi and she give me just her usual smile. I sigh and ask her.
Me: Yumi
Yumi: Yes?
Me: What's the password?
Yumi: ohhhh ... it's *classify*
Me: oh *classify* so it's the same as in my computer?
Yumi: yes, it's the same
Me: So, I can set my own yuri wallpaper there because you know. I just love yuri and it gave me reason to even come to work even if it's my first day.
Yumi: It's your PC but try not to take it home okay?
Me: Okay
Yumi, trust me I won't just bring a whole pc sets and put it at home but finally I can change my wallpaper later. So, what's anime should I put there. "Fuuki Minna is Hero" ? I just love that anime. I love everything about it. The story, characters and the bond between them. How I wish I would have that kind of bond but guess this is reality.
Me: So what company who's working with us now?
Yumi: We're working for the internet *classify* Company and it's involved with their products. Like solution for slow internet.
Me: Okay, so let's do it ... So, who work on the design graphics?
Yumi: Me, so let's think on what theme we should use
Me: hmmm
Yumi: Ads about a family having a problem with the internet?
Me: Alright I guess that's okay, so how the story goes in that situation?
Yumi: emmmm, let me think.
When I look at her now. Yumi is the type to think a lot, when she put her heart into it but when she's in lazy mood oh the trouble to force her finish what she started really troublesome.
Me: I have something!
The idea hit me!
Yumi: You have something? I hope you meant with the idea but not down there.
Yumi pointing her finger as she pokes on my thigh which make me give a soft squeal. I was a bit surprise and so do Yumi too.
Me: Yumi what I meant was about the idea we working right now, you perv.
Yumi: Sorry but it's been long I haven't done that with you but I like how the sound of it goes.
Me: Stop messing with me and let's finish this works.
Yumi: alright.
As we finish with the idea on how we appeal our self and the products use by the buyers and the next step is to inform Maki about our progress.
Yumi: Okay here. I already dial Maki to call her. You should tell her, what we've been doing.
I nodded and waited for Maki to pick up the phone.
Maki: Yes, Kazuki?
How the hell did she know it was me.
Me: ah yeah. About that. We already email you about the progress of an ideas on the tasks project and we hope that you decided if it a good to go or not.
Maki: Alright. I'll check it out and update you guys soon.
Maki hang up the phone and sigh in relief and in hope everything going smoothly as plan. While for Yumi.
Yumi: I hope it's okay because I'm too lazy to think up another idea.
Me: yeah. We really worked hard on it.
Not really. But as usual, Yumi just too lazy to give any effort in her.
Then Maki call back to us again and told us it was okay for now and she might update us more tomorrow because the company have some ideas to discuss for further details.
Yumi: I guess that's all. Time to head back home.
Me: Oh, I didn't notice that.
Hmmm, I guess my first day of work is fine but Maki did help us a lot rather than Yumi going to her lazy mode again. Well I guess I have to accept she will never change. Goofy Yumi.
Yumi: So Kazuki. Are you waiting for the bus later?
Me: Yeah, I do.
Yumi: Well, rather than you waiting for the bus just tag along with me instead. I got a car.
Me: Alright, so what's the car?
Yumi: Yellow
Me: and?
Yumi: IT'S CUTE
Me: Yumi ...
Yumi: Don't you think so?
Me: I don't know so.
Yumi: You missing it out ...
Argh ... Yumi. Please lord, save me from this complete troublesome woman. As we both in the car.
Yumi: Oh Kazuki. I want to invite you somewhere for dinner later.
Me: I'm sorry but I need to get home or mom might get worry about me and she also want to know how my first day is.
And another reason. I just want to watch my yuri anime show at home.
Yumi: and another reason, you want to watch that yuri anime you dying to see.
Me: ... how do you that?
Yumi: I know a lot.
Erh, sometime you know something useless, Yumi but I still wonder. What reason that you've gone from my life those years back.
Yumi: Well Kazuki. I'll invite you again on that dinner I ask you. Don't forget.
Me: Sure, Yumi.
Yumi: Here we are.
Me: Well, I see you tomorrow.
Yumi: What about my kiss.
I pinch hard on her nose which make a bright red. She deserves it.
Me: see yaa.
Yumi: see yaa.
First day with that idiot is fine but her stupidity for all this year still there alright but I'm happy she's still the caring Yumi I've known.
(Later in the house)
Mother: Hello Kazu
Me: Hello mother
Mother: So, how's your first day of work?
Me: It's fine.
Mother: No any cute boys that you interested?
Me: I not interested in them and you know that, mother.
Mother: Alright Kazu but I want to tell you. Whatever happened me and your dad is between me and him. You don't have too interfere. Understand.
Me: Alright mother.
Yeah right ... I do understand and I don't really care about it.
Mother: You can go to your room now.
Me: Alright.
(In my room)
Finally, I can watch the show I've dying to watch and yuri is the only thing I can keep up enjoying my little world.
Oh, before that, I should call Yumi and yeah. I ask her number before she drop me off. I forgot to tell you readers. When I look at the contacts and yumi name herself "Lovely Best Friend Yumi" ... erh ...
Yumi: Hallo?
Me: Hi Yumi?
Yumi: Hello kazuki, so why you wish to call little me?
Me: erh ... well I want to ask you if you could pick me up tomorrow?
Yumi: I would love to pick you up and it would at 7am and I shall wait for you.
Me: alright. See you tomorrow. Bye.
Yumi: Bye Bye.
I really sigh heavily just hearing her goofing about really drain my energy and now I feel I should sleep. Maybe tomorrow I watch my anime.
But still I really want to know what the reason she left me ...
