I love a walk in the woods. It calms me , realifes tension. The fact that I'm dragging a body should be irrelevant. I smile at myself as I dump the rotting body on the oozing mud.
"You shouldn't have came." A voice says sadly behind me. I freeze. Please don't be a policeman.
"Hunter. I don't wanna know what you did or how you did it." The voice speaks again. I know that voice-Heather .
"Heather." I whimper. Why is my here. Where's Emma?
"Where's Em? You know what it doesn't matter. Leave." I say trying not to touch her in case they trace it back to her.
"Please. Hunter. Please." Heather sobs.
"Leave now." I shout. She runs off. I snatch my shovel from a tree. Sweat dripped.
"How did this happen?" I think as I throw some mud to the left. A tear slithered down my cheek. Time grew longer ,the pile of dirt grew. I dig the shovel deep in the dirt and examine the body. I kneel down. My eyes instantly notice the blood still pouring from his stomach. He's alive. "Family above all" I think. I stand back up slightly shaking. I take a deep breath.
"This is the right thing to do." I think. I slam the shovel off his head with no remorse and push him into the hole. I fill in his new grave.
