"Tyron, please wake up," I hear a voice say. My eyes flutter open and I see the girl again. Her face is covered with sweat and there is a gash on her arm. As soon as she sees me awake she smiles. "By the spirts, your alive," she says relieved. I take a better look at our surroundings. We are still in the explosive class and the monster is on the flor with a knife sticking out of his head. I cringe, I hate blood or anything to do with bodies. "I hope you don't mind, he was just SO annoying, I had to kill him," she says as normally as if she was explaining why she hates a certain type of food. "Uhh...it's okay," I say, you definitely didn't want to get on this girl's bad side. "What even was the thing," I ask. "It was a Physocath," she states like it is obvious I should know. "I got him, yes, yes, he is here, of course I killed it," she says to no one in particular. I look around to see if anyone else around us, but there is no one. "One moment please," she says to me. She then starts talking some more, stopping, then talking again. It's like she is having a conversation on a holocom (phone) without actually having one. She finally stops talking and stands up, brushing some dirt off her dress. I get up too but when I do I feel a sharp pain go through my leg. I look down and the girl follows my gaze. She bends down and grabs my foot to get a closer look at it. "Looks like it's sprained, not to bad though," she states. I try to pull away from her grip, I hate being touched. If she notices this she gives no indication. She stands up and mumbles to herself something. Since she is so short I have to bend my neck to look at her. I never realized how young she is, she must be at least 12 or 13. Wait, what is a twelve year old doing at a collage.
Then again why are there monsters at a collage. "Here this will help," she says. She digs something out of her bag. A weird looking disk with ancient writing on it. "Only use this in times of need." She takes her long hair and begins to braid it. That just makes her look even younger. "Aren't you too young to be at a collage," I ask. She giggles and says "You really think I'm that short do you."
"I never told you that" "I'm a telepath," she says like it explains everything. "Why was a monster attacking me in the first place," I say still shaking. "Um...I'm not really supposed to tell you but it's because." All of a sudden a beep comes from her watch. "Your going to be late to your next class." Oh, right I forgot. "What if another monster attacks me" "I will protect you then" Great, my life is in the hands of a small twelve year old girl. "I heard that," she says as she walks away. "Wait where" "Your next class is three doors too the left," she says finishing my thought. "Wait, I never got your name," I say as she is about to leave the room. "Anika, or as most people know me The Girl With The Sliver Hair. Anika ducks into the hallway, "Don't worry someone will clean up the mess," she calls out from the hallway. I shudder, I was going to have nightmares for a long time about that thing. At my next class I couldn't really focus because I wa s thinking about today's events, especially Anika, The Girl With The Sliver Hair.
