The Lodge

Part 1

"Wow, Skye was right when she said the Lodge is big." I said and Mom chuckled as she held Jesse and Rocco's leashes in her hands. "Patrick said that even Skye and Ed was surprised when they came here." Mom said and I laughed. "I still think that our house is best cause there's only two of us." I said and we both laughed. Jesse and Buddy started moving and barking around. "Bud! Jess! Stop!" Me and Mom said and they stopped. "Let's go inside." Mom said and we headed inside. 

Oh I forgot. My name is Skylar Hill and I just moved from the city to the country with my Mom. We bought a house because one of my best friends, Skye Hart and her Dad, Ed Hart, moved because of the death of her Mom and they live here. I got three dogs. The Husky is named Jesse, the Border Collie is named Rocco, and the Bernese is named Buddy. My Mom's name is Jennifer Hill and My Dad's name is Elijah Hill. My Dad left me and my Mom when I was 4 years old. I haven't seen him since. I don't even care cause I'm ready to start my life again. 

We went inside and I saw Skye talking to some other teens. I gave Buddy's leash to Mom and she smiled at me. Skye turned and was smiling. She saw me. "Lele?" Skye asked. "Skye!" I said and we ran to each other giving each other big hugs. "Dad told me some people were coming soon and I knew it had to be you." She said and I laugh. "I'm here now." I said and we both laughed. "Buddy? Rocco? Jesse?" She asked and I nodded. We walked up to the dogs and she petted Jesse. Jesse wagged his tail, Buddy licked her cheek, and Rocco went to her side. I chuckled and Skye giggled. "You need to meet some people." Skye said pulling me over to the people she was talking to.

"Guys, I want you to meet someone." She said and they turned to us. We stopped and I smiled at Skye. "Guys, this is one of my best friends, Skylar Hill. Skylar, this is Ben, Sean, Danielle, Noah, Kaylee, Aaron, Kyle, and Josh." She said and I smiled. "Sounds awesome." Ben said and I laughed a little. "You have any favorite hobbies?" Kaylee asked. "Yes actually. I love biking, fashion, music with guitars, dancing, singing and one of my favorites is do remixes for music." I said and they were surprised. "What kind of fashion and biking?" Noah asked. "For fashion, I'm all about the glitz and glams. I love doing my hair, makeup, and nails. Nails and Makeup especially. For biking, I love doing training for competitions cause I do lots of them. I have 14 medals and 5 trophies from winning actually." I said.

Ben and Sean gave each other a look like they found something and Danielle was surprised. "That's funny cause I actually love fashion too. I love doing nails and makeup." Danielle said and I smiled. "We should do it sometime together." I said. "Totally." She said and we laughed. "Lele, you know Ben and Sean have a qualifier soon and we're going to watch it." Skye said and I looked at her. "I'm totally gonna come." I said and she smiled. Sean gave me like a look like he wanted to talk to me later. I looked at him. 'Talk to me later.' I mouthed to Sean and he nodded. "Rocco! Come here boy!" I said and Rocco came up to me. I picked him up and he licked/ate the treats out of my hand. "Good boy." I said and Ben petted the top of his head. "What's his name?" He asked. "Rocco and he's a Border Collie." I said and he nodded. "Skylar, I'm gonna go with Buddy and Jesse home." Mom said. "Alright, love you.' I said and she left.

Everyone did there own things while Sean stayed next to me. "Hey Skylar! Can we play with Rocco?" Noah and Josh asked me. "Go ahead." I said throwing them a tennis ball and toy stick. "Come on Rocco!" Noah yelled as Rocco followed both of them outside. "What did you want to talk about with me?" Sean asked me. "I don't know. When Ben was next to me, you seemed distant from me." I said and he realized. "Oh, I'm sorry. Danielle, my girlfriend, said that I should just stay away from you." He said. "Why?" I asked. "Well, she wants to spend more time with me and when Skye got here, I kind of fell in love with her so she just doesn't want that to happen with you." He said and I nodded. "Oh, that's fine. Just let me know next time." I said and he nodded. He went over to Ben, Skye, and Danielle while I went outside to play with Rocco, Noah, and Josh.
