Chapter 9

“You’re going to get it midget.” Ashling said as she stood where she was by her desk. She was looking right at Drake with a hungry look in her eyes that made my wolf roar inside of me. How dare she look at my mate like that!!! She shouldn’t even be looking at my mate in the first place!!! Drake grabbed a tighter hold of me and pressed his lips to the back of my neck which calmed down my wolf a bit to a little growl.

I stood back up and grabbed her hand so we could continue walking into the school. We had to stop off at the office to grab her’s, Jason, and Katrina’s schedule since they didn’t get it yesterday. We walked in and the receptionist looked at us in shock and awe, well mostly our hands.

          “You must be Samantha, Jason, and Katrina, my name’s Rose; I spoke to you on the phone.” Rose said looking at Sammy.

          “Yes, that’s me, but please call me Sammy; I don’t like the name Samantha.” Sammy said with a smile on her face that drove me absolutely wild for her.

          “Sure thing, Sammy. Now, here’s your schedules, you all have the same classes but considering Alpha Drake is here and probably will want your schedule’s to match, I can move all 3 of you into his classes if you would prefer.” Rose said with a smile towards me. She really is kind of like a second mom to me; considering she is my mom’s best friend and my beta’s mom.

          “Thanks Rose.” I said with a goofy grin on my face that I don’t think anyone has seen since I was younger.

          “She must be very special for you to want the schedules to be the same and for that grin that I haven’t seen in about 7 years, to be on his face. You must be his mate, am I right?” Rose said with a knowing smile. She knew Sammy was my mate from the minute we walked into the office.

          “I am his mate, unfortunately.” Sammy said knowing this will drive me even wilder. Does she really want me to take her right here in front of everyone?

          “Oh, honey, I can tell you lots of stories about this one, you can be sure of that.” Rose said with a smirk towards me, knowing I would blush in embarrassment.

          “Awww, he’s blushing, how cute.” Sammy said before she thanked Rose and grabbed her schedule along with Jason and Katrina’s, I kind of forgot they were standing there. They looked at me with an amused expression, damn I wish they would stop; wait, I’m the Alpha, they have to listen to me know.

          “Get that shit eating grin off your face, now.” I commanded which made them stop in about two seconds flat.

          “Don’t be mean to them just because you’re embarrassed that I can get info on you that could very well be used to my advantage.” Sammy said as she started walking forward towards the class that we shared now, Math. Goddess, do I hate math.

Samantha’s POV:

          As I started walking towards math I realized that I had no idea where I was going and was a little bit lost. I wish Drake would just help me out but no, he had to leave on an emergency that required him to be there ‘A.S.A.P.’ as he said. He told me that he would find someone to help me out but I had no idea who the hell that could me. I wasn’t looking where I was going so when I ran into someone, I fell down with them right next to me.

          “Shit, my bad, I’m such a klutz!” The girl yelled out at she started to get up and help me up also. I turned my head to see who it was. The girl was really pretty; long bright red hair, green eyes, she was slim and towered over me.
