You were woken up by a knock at your door. "Who dares wake me at," you look at the time before continuing, "three in the morning! What the hell, man!" You clumsily jump out of bed. Your covers tripping you in the process. A big thud sounded as you hit the floor. "Crap. Shit. That hurt."

Once you untangled yourself from your covers, you rushed over to your door. Your socks slid against the floor, causing you to lose control and bang into the door. The person behind the door continued to wait.

You swing the door open to reveal Sam standing in the hall with an amused smirk. "You alright? I heard a lot of noise coming from inside," Sam laughed. You gave him your best glare, your dark circles adding to the effect.

"I'm perfectly fine. Thanks for asking," you replied venomously, warning Sam to not speak of the incident again. "Anyway," your voice changed sweet as you began. "Why exactly did you wake me up this early in the morning?"

You scowled at Sam until he answered. "The UN made their decision. We just got the information now. They're reinstating an edited version of the Sokovia Accords." Glancing up at Sam curiously, you waited for him to finish.

"They want to arrest Wanda, Steve, Nat, and I. Don't know when that'll happen though." You became impatient, not seeing the point of being awaken.

"And this concerns me how, exactly?"

Sam looked at you. There was something off in his eyes. There was not little twinkle in them like normal. "They ordered your arrest as well."

Your heart stopped at Sam's words. A pit formed in your stomach. You barely made out a whisper, "What?" Disbelief, fear, anger, that's all you felt. "You're joking right?"

He eyed you tiredly and gave you a week smile. "Get some sleep, kid. We'll discuss it later." Sam walked away, leaving you standing in your doorframe. You watched him till he disappeared into the darkness. Only then did you walk back into your room.

You laid awake in your bed as you thought about your future. Your mind not comprehending fully the news you just heard. Sure, you knew it was a possibility due to Nat and Steve, but you didn't think it would actually happen. Now your arrest was ordered by the United Nations.

One second your life was falling back into place. You were a hero. All your friends and family were no longer dust particles. You didn't think about Thanos every second of the day, worrying that it might happen again. But now, now you were a convict.

You never signed the Sokovia Accords, not because you disagreed with them, but because you didn't want to divide your team and release your name to anyone. The UN would have wanted you to sign as (Y/F/N), not as Covert. That information could be easily leaked, and you weren't ready to take that risk. Tony and everyone who signed understood where you were coming from, so you were never involved in their disagreement with those who didn't sign.

Exhausted from anxiety ridden thoughts, you fall back asleep. This time, when you wake up, the sun is shining through the windows. A sheet of freshly fallen snow covered the ground.

You get up from your bed and go into your bathroom where you take a hot shower and brush your teeth. After, you sat on your bed contemplating life for a half hour and scrolling through your phone. You willed yourself to get up and get ready. You changed into a pair of gray joggers and a cream colored sherpa. You finished getting yourself ready once you were dressed.

You slid your feet across the hallway floors to get to the kitchen. When you got there, you grabbed some breakfast. Nobody talked. It was painfully silent. You didn't like it. The silence left you with your thoughts, and your thoughts weren't making your predicament any better.
