Julia - -
It was eight at night when Julia began to brush her hair. She had recently come out of the shower after a long day of work.
Julia was an intern, a paid intern, for a big journalism company. She was too smart for her own good, but was also too nice for her own good. People walked all over her and she never did anything about it.
She pulled her brush through her golden locks. She was watching herself in the mirror, replaying the events of that day. One of her coworkers had commented on her appearance - saying that she looked like Dove Cameron.
Julia couldn't see it.
Just as she was about to finish brushing her hair, the familiar ring tone of her phone filled the room.
She jumped to her feet and darted across her room.
The number wasn't one that she knew. Normally she wasn't one to answer calls from strangers, but something made her answer it.
Bringing the phone to her ear, first there was static. Then a monotone voice spoke, "Is this Julia Berian?"
Hesitantly she replied, "Yes, this is she. May I ask who's calling?"
"Miss Berian, this is Lucas Robert Hemmings lawyer Florence Manchester. Lucas is recently deceased and in his Will you are mentioned."
Julia gasped, feeling her heart beat quicken and tears prickling at her eyes.
"It would be best if you and your attorney come to the Brighton Firm in Brighton, London to fill out some papers to claim the objects given to you through his Will. Is this possible? If you give me your email address we can work out the details through email."
"Okay Mr. Manchester. My email is Berian.Julia97@Yahoo.com."
"Thank you Miss Berain I'll be in touch."
Before Julia could reply, the line went dead.
