"Three more months!!" Princess Anna squealed and barged into her sisters room. Queen Elsa jumped in her seat at her desk, and gave Anna a glare. Anna only giggled, and Elsa rolled her eyes. "Yes Anna I know, which is why I'm trying to finish all these invitations." She said with a slightly exaggerated sigh. Anna was to wed Kristoff in three months time, and Elsa had been running around for weeks, making sure everything was in check. Anna waved her hand dismissively as Elsa.

"You work too much."

"I'm the Queen."

"Well Queens work too much."

Elsa laughed but nodded in agreement. It was obvious that after The Great Thaw, she wasn't as...sophisticated as she used to be. She'd give anything to get a week of freedom. "I'm going to go find Olaf." Anna said with a look at Elsa, interrupting her thoughts. Elsa sighed; she could tell Anna wanted her to come with her. "Alright. And I'll try my best to get away for a bit." Elsa replied and Anna smiled slightly and left.

Elsa quite liked the nighttime. It was peaceful, and sometimes beautiful. The shining stars were her favorite. They shown bright as Elsa read on her balcony, sense she had finished her work and Anna had went to bed. Elsa could remember when they were young, Anna would wake up in the middle of the night, wanting to play with Elsa and her magic. "The sky's awake..." Elsa murmured to herself with a small smile. Suddenly a fierce knock interrupted her thoughts. She got up and opened her door, and saw a rather angry guard standing in front of her. "Queen Elsa. We have found Prince Hans wandering around the back of the castle. Other guards have captured him and taken him to the dungeon." He told her and Elsa's eyes widened. She took a deep breath. "You mustn't let the rest of the kingdom know. And I will tell Princess Anna myself." Elsa stated and started down the hallway toward her dungeons. "Right now, I have someone to visit."

~

It was cold down in the dungeons. Of course, it don't bother Elsa, but it bothered the prisoners. Including Hans. Elsa walked confidently to his cell am dismissed the guards there. They obeyed without hesitation; they knew their Queen could defend herself if needed. She entered the dungeon, and her expressionless face showed slight fear as she realized this was the same dungeon she was put in last summer. Last summer. A summer she would never forget. Elsa pushed those thoughts away. "Why are you here? How did you get here?" She asked demandingly. He only gave her a stained letter. She took it hesitantly and read it.

Dear Queen Elsa of Arendelle,
Because of the damage Hans had done in /your/ kingdom, I am sure you'd like to handle his punishment. He has been stripped of his title and is no longer welcome the the Southern Isle.
~ King Klaus of the Southern Isle

Elsa frowned at the letter, and it covered in frost. Why the hell didn't they just kill him in his own kingdom instead of leaving him in Arendelle? Her gaze went from the letter to Hans, who's face was hidden. "Show yourself." He didn't move. "Now." She insisted and gasped at his face. He was covered in bruises and cuts. He growled. "Stand up." she commented after a minute, regaining her emotionless feature. He did so, and she formed ice cuffs on his hands. "Come with me." He followed her, confused, and he found himself in the care of a doctor.

~

Elsa left confused Hans with the doctor and went to see Anna.

"He's HERE?!"

"Anna, calm down."

"HOW?!"

"I don't know, just listen."

Anna sat on a chair and nodded, finally calm. Well, calm-/er/. Elsa handed her the letter and Anna read it, then threw it to the ground. "Great. Just great. Couldn't have had better timing." She grumbled.

"I know, I know. But I will make sure he does not go any where /near/ you or Kristoff, especially during the wedding."

"Well obviously. He can't escape our dungeons."

"I know. But... he's not going to be staying in the dungeon all day-"

"What?!"

"You didn't let me finish. He's going to work all day, then he'll go back into his cell at night. Okay?"

"......fine."

Anna huffed and Elsa sighed. "I'm not keen on this either, trust me." Elsa rested her head on her fist, sitting next to Anna. "You should get some sleep. We both should." Anna advised and Elsa nodded, standing. "Goodnight." The sister told each other as Elsa exited Anna's room.

~

Elsa sat in a chair in her room, her ice blue eyes never leaving the flames licking the wood. Her thoughts swarmed; there was no way she'd fall asleep. A sudden knock on her door interrupted her thoughts, and she stood, opening it and facing Kai. "Your Majesty, the prisoner in the medical wing wishes to see you." Elsa sighed unhappily but nodded.

~

Elsa walked past the guards without even glancing at them. She pushed open the door, and was greeted by silence; Hans' back facing her. "What." Elsa asked, her arms crossed. He didn't turn to face her, or even flinch when she spoke. But he answered her. "why did you let a doctor help me?" he questioned. "because you are going to be working." she answered calmly, and thats when he finally turned to face her. "what? why? couldn't you just kill me? I'm sure you'd love that." Hans growled at Elsa. she sneered, but refused to loose the calmness she had finally attained before coming to him. "I do not take pleasure in killing people, no matter what they've done." Elsa's voice was calm but her eyes were flaming. Hans frowned but didnt argue back. he hated to find himself afraid of the Snow Queen, but then again, who wasn't at least the smallest bit afraid of her? "you'll be working in the mines, but you'll be staying in the dungeon when not working. this is final." Elsa told him quickly before turning just as quickly and leaving the room, the door slamming behind her.
