Blood Splatter

Slumping down to my knees, I stared at the mangled body that lie before my eyes. To think that this was once a happy living female. It was too bad she witnessed something she wasn't supposed to see. I couldn't help but think how this murder was my fault. After all I used to be normal, well the most normal I could be. Although I hardly remember anything from my past, I know it must of been at least a little better than this. Even if I do this sin for a living, that doesn't mean I'm not heartless. It still guilts me every time a lifeless body lays in front of me. I've just become numb to the sights.Sitting in my knees for a few minutes, I started to become wary of my surroundings. It was almost sunrise and if I didn't leave soon I would surely be spotted. Yet I couldn't push myself to get up. I didn't want to go back-to that awful cabin. It reeked of bloodshed and tears. Plus Masky is nearly almost there all the time. I couldn't stand being near him. He gave off a certain vibe that makes me anxious. After all he was unpredictable and blood thirsty, and whenever I did something to upset him, his deep brown eyes glared at me through the white porcelain mask he wore. To put it simply, I was scared of him. Forcing myself to stand up, I gripped my old wooden hatchet from the now tangled body. Then strapping it onto my belt before turning in my heel to trench into the abyss of a forest.
