Leto and Eva had both been lying low for sometime now and nothing had happened. Eva's hand had began to heal well so she no longer needed the bandage to cover it. By no means was it back to normal but it had begun the healing process and no longer oozed blood when it was moved.

Eva was out on a food run so the pair could actually eat tonight, they had gone several days without food and feeling hungry urged them to do something about it. It had gone past midday and Eva wasn't sure if she was getting too bold but she confidently walked down to the shops to get some food.

Inside the shop she picked up several things including pre made sandwiches, some crisps and then a few extra bits and pieces. At the till she paid but the employee gave her a strange look before asking, "Are you Miss Winter?"

Shocked by the question Eva hesitated before saying, "Yes"

He smiled and nodded, "A man came in here and gave me this to give to you" he handed her a letter, "I have to say his description of you was spot on"

"Thanks" Eva muttered as she picked up the letter and took her shopping outside. When she was alone she placed her shopping bag down on the ground before looking at the letter. It just said 'Miss Winter' on the envelope. Turning it over she ripped it open and took out the single piece of paper inside. Her eyes widened when she read it, it simply said 'Next target Leto Hawk. You have two days to complete' Quickly she turned over the paper and nothing else was written on it. By the writing she knew it wasn't Kaz who had written it so it must have been the big boss. She didn't feel worried about the target but she couldn't decide if she should tell Leto about it, and then she wasn't sure to carry out the orders.

Pushing the piece of paper in her jacket pocket she picked up her shopping and went to go back to Leto.

They had been staying in an abandoned house, it hadn't been left for long so it was like living in a real home. Instead of using the door Eva teleported into the kitchen and placed the bag on the side.

Leto heard the rustling of the plastic and came to see what the noise was. He watched her put the food out on the side before turning to look at him. She smiled and then quickly moved past Leto and out of the room, she wanted to hide the letter. He knew that she had something on her mind so he followed her.

"Are you alright?" he asked her.

Eva hastily turned around and nodded her head, "Yes I'm fine"

Leto didn't know if he believed her but he nodded back and Eva ran upstairs away from him. In the bedroom where she had been staying she sat on the bed and pulled out the note and looked down at it again. Letting it sink in she pulled the knife out which she always carried with her and looked at it's blade. In the dull metal her reflection was a blur but she could see her eyes looking back at her. Exhaling she lay on her back and began to think about all the possible ways she could end Leto's life in the least painful way. But she knew already she didn't want to harm him with her powers, so like every other target she had been given she was going to use her knife.

A knock came at her bedroom door so she sat up quickly as the door was opened. Standing up Eva looked at Leto who was still confused by her sudden change in personality, but as she stood the note fell from her pocket. Eva didn't notice this but Leto saw the paper fall to the floor and he knew that was his chance to figure her out.

"Should we get lunch?" he asked her hoping to draw her away from the fallen paper.

"Sure sounds good to me" Eva nodded as she walked away from her bed and over to Leto, "I'll go and get it ready"

"Cool, I'm just going to nip to the toilet then I'll join you"

Thinking nothing of it Eva nodded and left her room whilst Leto went down the corridor to the toilet. He closed the door and waited until he was sure she was downstairs then silently he went back to her room. Opening the door he walked over to the paper on the floor and picked it up. Unfolding it he read the few words on it but he didn't appear to frightened by it. For a while he had had the suspicion that Eva might try and attack him and now she had two days to get rid of him he wasn't surprised.
