Eva reappeared just outside of Kaz's officedloor before leaning forward and knocking on it. "It's open!" was called back at her by Kaz, she knew his voice well even when it was muffled by the door.
Opening the door Kaz's eyes widened when Eva walked in, she looked like she had seen better days but Kaz was in shock. "Eva...you're...you're alive" he stuttered.
She nodded back at him.
"How?" he questioned.
"Believe me it's a very long story" she sighed.
"You look like you been in better shape, did Leto give you some trouble to take down?"
Eva shook her head, "I never attempted to take him out, it was actually Ashley who caused me the problems"
"What do you mean you left Leto alive?" Kaz growled.
"He might have been my target but I just couldn't kill him" she shrugged, "besides with Josh now gone I don't see why Leto should be murdered"
"You've changed" Kaz frowned at her.
"Quite possibly but I'm still willing to be given targets and I'll take them out, it's just I couldn't do that to Leto"
"Why not?"
Eva thought about it for a while before saying, "You wouldn't understand but he trusted me"
"Trusted you?"
"I was allowed to walk around his home band free, he even relied on me to help him free Ashley. You might call it pathetic but I owe him so that's why I'm not going to assassinate him, at the end of the day I have morals"
Kaz laughed, "You know that's something I've never heard before, an Assassin saying they have morals when their whole job is to murder people"
"Hm, well there it is you've heard it from me"
Leaning back in his chair Kaz shrugged, "Oh well not like I have an issue with Leto being alive, I'll let you off this once purely because you're as tough as nails and are useful to keep around"
"Hmm alright" Eva slightly smiled.
"What's wrong with that?" Kaz frowned at her.
"Face the facts you like me too much to get rid of me" she told him as she folded her arms.
Kaz instantly began to blush and quickly he looked away, "That isn't true at all" He told her.
"Oh right maybe I'm just looking into things too deeply" Eva smiled to herself.
"Just take your next target" Kaz told her as he pushed a piece of paper towards her. Walking over to his desk she picked up the paper and looked at the name on it. She had never heard of the man before which meant this would be an easy kill for her
"You might want to get changed first as well" Kaz told her, "that man has a very high status and you being covered in blood isn't a good look for someone like that. You also totally look like an Assassin"
"Right then I suppose I'm off to get changed then" Eva rolled her eyes.
"Also he had security so you won't be able to smuggle any obvious weapons into his place"
"Seriously?" Eva moaned.
"I never said this was going to be an easy job" Kaz shrugged, "That's why you have just under a week to complete it in"
"Fine I'll go and get changed and think of a way to kill him without an obvious weapon" Eva told him as she left his office.
"See you in a couple of days!" Kaz called after her. She ignored him and walked down the stairs back out into the open air. This job wasn't going to be easy and she knew that, it was going to take her probably a couple of days planning first.
