Touring with Reece Mastin

Hey guys this is my first story so if theres bad grammar or spelling or just random words put in random places please don't judge me coz and iPad is really hard to type on.

"And the winner is.......Melody Kyle." I watch as my shocked face slowly turns into a smile finally realise that I am the winner of The X Factor Austaraila 2012. I see myself go over to Cole Simon, my competition, and hug him. I remember telling him he's just as amazing as me and he says congratulations to me.

"So how are you feeling?" Luke asks

"I'm speechless. I want to say thanks to everyone for voting and thanks to Mel for mentoring me and basically everyone that's apart of this show." I say in a rush. I pick up the remote and swichoff the replay of last night. I'm sitting in my bedroom. It's the coolest room ever. Sadly on a few months when X Factor Aus is viewed in New Zealand then I will be touring there and Sony said that they would pair me up with another singer to tour with, them as my opening act.

"Melody, are you there?" someone says

"Yes mum I'm here." I call

"Some of your friends are here." I stand up and rush out to see them.

I see my friends Joel, Carly, Amazon and Cole different than from X Factor.

"Hey." they run up and hug me basically squashing me half to death.

"Guys need to breath." I say and they let me go.

"I can't believe you won the X Factor." Carly says I drag them into my room and we talk about hair make up as soon as the convo gets to girly the boys go grab food and start doing that thing where you throw food up in the air and then catch it in your mouth. Well they are doing it with my popcorn. As soon as we get on to music then they come back.

"Well I have got a couple of song tunes like the music sorted now I just need the lyrics." I say

"Play them it would be like a sneak preview at your half written song." Amazon says

"Okay." what harm could it do

I pick up my bright oink guitar and start to strum. I play the tunes and then I add a bit onto the end which sounds cool.

"Awesome!" Joel says

"I love the bit at the end." Carly and Amazon say together. I did mention that they're twins right.

I grab the book I wrote the other notes in and write them down cause I actually made them up on the spot.

I still can't believe I won and my music journey only just begun.

4 months later

The studio is now telling me who I will be touring with.

"We've picked someone for you to tour with and they said they would be glad to." my manager Leo says

"And this person is?" I ask growing impatient.

"Reece Mastin." he says and I mega freak out. Reece is one of my favourite singers of all time.

"Don't scream he's just Reece freaking Mastin you don't need to scream." I mutter to myself.

He walks in and says"So your Melody the girl who one the last X Factor,huh?" he says

"Yep that's me." I'm so glad I can keep myself calm otherwise I would be screaming like a freaking banshee.

"So I'll have to put up with you for the next few months hmm."

"Apparently I have to put up with you as well." I say in my matter of fact cocky voice.

"So where are we going first?" I ask Leo

"Well we are traveling from Sydney across Austarilia. Then we go to New Zealand." he says "Tickets go on sale tonight. Your first concert is in one month." he leaves me and Reece alone

"So." Reece comes and stands next to me. "First ever concert are you nervous?"

"No it's just like the live shows isn't it." I say

"Not really."

"What does that mean?" I ask

"Well yeah it's like the live shows where your singing and everything but you have to introduce yourself and talk a lot to fill in the time frame. There is so many songs you have to sing as well as give previews of your own songs..." he trails off. I pick up my guitar and just start playing around with the cords.

I love just playing it with no music to play by just me and randomly putting cords together, changing the length of the cords and blah blah blah.

"That's good is it like a new song or something." Reece asks

"Well, no it's just me playing around with my guitar not really noing what I'm doing." I say

He laughs.

"I really should get started on some lyrics though I would like to have a song of my own to play at the concert."

"Tickets go on sale in two minutes." Leo says and I follow his voice into a room with the rest of my managers.

"There on sale now." Anne says she's like my agent assistant manager or something like that.

27 hours later all the shows were sold out.

"They sold out how fast?" Joel asks after I call him.

"In just over 24 hours crazy right." I say

"Insane that people actually listen to you."

"aww thanks your so nice." Sarcasm is one of my many talents.

"So what are the terror twins (Carly and Amazon) doing."

"No idea but quite frankly I don't care."

"Okay then tell everyone I miss them and that I love them and tell Marly I said hi."

"Okay but I have to go now homework." he says

"k that's fine bye." I say then hang up

"So who was that?" Reece asks and I jump

"Seriously how do you do that?" I ask "You scared me half to death."

"Come on you've got to practise." he says grabbing my hand and dragging me away.
