A Wizard Story (Based On A Dream)

Chapter One: Secrets

Audrey McKinley woke up from a great dream. She dreamed that she was playing an intense game of Quidditch against Ravenclaw at her school. She got out of bed, brushed her teeth, and put on her school uniform. Audrey was an average height 13 year old who had long light brown hair and brown eyes with a slight touch of green in them. She started to attend West Falls School of Magic in 2015 and was Sorted into Gryffindor.

"Audrey, you almost ready?" shouted her Muggle mother Nicole.

"Yeah," exclaimed Audrey as she put on her Gryffindor robe and walked into the living room. Her mother was sitting down on a blue couch. Mrs. McKinley was slightly taller than her daughter, and had shoulder length light brown hair and brown eyes.

Audrey saw her wand and her purse sitting on the dining room table and grabbed them. It was 6:55 in the morning, and her and her mother went off to school.

It was about 7:05 when they reached the school. It was a dark and cloudy morning. Mrs. McKinley looked at Audrey and said, "Have a good day at school. I love you."

"I love you too, Mom," said Audrey as she got out of the car. She closed the car door and went inside West Falls School of Magic. She entered the cafeteria and went to the very last table in the back.

Audrey saw her best friend Emily Stanford walking towards the table. Emily was slightly taller than Audrey, and had long brown hair and green eyes covered with rectangular striped glasses. She was in the same year as her best friend and was Sorted into Hufflepuff. She sat next to Audrey. They both pulled out their copies of Magical Drafts and Potions because they were learning how to create a Confusing Concoction in their Potions class.

"Do you understand this?" asked Emily as she pointed her wand at the instructions on how to brew it.

"Hell no," said Audrey. "Professor Hanson makes all this difficult for us. I could probably ask Steven, but I'm not sure if he would help us or not."

The bell rang and everyone went to their lockers. The girls walked outside to the girls locker room so that they could put their Quidditch stuff in their lockers.

"Meet me in here in 3rd period," Audrey whispered to Emily.

"Why?" asked Emily quietly.

"Who says you can't have a secret Quidditch match?"

Emily didn't know what to say about this, then she said, "Okay."

The two walked into their Charms class as Professor Madeline Powell walked in. She was a short middle aged woman who had short blonde hair and deep brown eyes. She was wearing a set of dark blue robes.

Audrey's boyfriend, Steven Ross, followed behind Professor Powell. Steven was a tall boy who had chocolate brown hair, baby blue eyes, and slightly bucked front teeth. He was also a Gryffindor.

"Hey," he said, smiling.

"Hey," said Audrey, hugging him. "Meet me out on the Quidditch Pitch in 3rd period."

"Why?"

Audrey whispered, "Who says you can't have a secret Quidditch match?"

Steven looked confused. "Which team are you playing against?"

"Ravenclaw, of course."

"Okay. I'll try to meet you out there. Hopefully Professor Hanson doesn't beat my ass if he catches me skipping again."

Audrey giggled.
