The saving of a nation

There was hope, but now it is gone,

A monster that showed the day is done, when a day had dawned,
and give reason to why we may morn.

I am but a shadow of this place which I stand; living in this fear of what I cannot understand.

A monster engraved into my soul,
it rattles is chains and to kill is its  goal.

Then from the ashes rising in stride,
A pheonix is rising from the ground of where he once died.

A hope to humanity with the power of death,
And at last this monster takes its final breath.
An uproarious cheer to be heard all around,
As the monster is slayed and falls to the ground.
