Sonic's POV

      I woke up and i look around.I found myself in a hospital bed.I feel nothing in my head.I saw the doctor and a nurse talking each other on the counter."Doctor,one of our patients need a serious treatment.""Well,who could it be?""His name is Sonic the hedgehog."Are they gonna do a serious treatment on me?"ask myself.Then,the doctor came to me and write something on his note."Sonic..we have to do some serious treatment on you."the doctor said as he hand out the notes and put it on the table.

      "What serious treatment is that?"i ask."We heard from your friend that you feel depress all the time.""What?...I didn't feel depress right now."i said.I look around and see Shadow was not here."I have to get back home."as i get up but the doctor hold me."Sonic...you must stay here until you get better!"The doctor demand.Then, Shadow came in."Doctor,let me do this.My friend would like to hear me."the doctor nod and they walk away from the room.

      "Hi..."Shadow said as he sit down."Why do you really need to say 'hi'?"I ask but i didn't do any eye contact."I don't wanna make you feel upset and anyway,i have bought a food for you and this time i will not make you throw away the food again."Shadow give me a chocolate cake."Why should i have to eat a chocolate cake?"I ask as eat the cake."Last month,you look at the chocolate cake at the bakery and i think you might wanna have it someday."

He really remember...the day that i want that cake so much.

"Enjoy the cake while you can,Sonic.Maybe someday you will never feel like this again."Shadow walk away."Shadow,where are you going?!"i said."Your medical treatment is near.The doctor will come in any second."he close the door and leave me with the cake.This is the thing that i want in my life.Now, everything has completely different."Shadow..."i mumble.

      After Sonic has finally recovered from the doctor's treatment,he feel like his depressions was gone away from him.He look at the ceiling with a blank stare.He couldn't remember anything after that."What just happen???"Sonic said with a curious tone.The doctor came in and show Sonic's statistics."You look very good now,Sonic.Do you wanna call your friend about you?"The doctor hand out the phone and i dial Shadow's number."Shadow?"i said.Shadow answer the phone."Sonic...are you done with your treatment?""Yes...""Okey...i will get there."Sonic end the call and give the phone to the doctor.

       After some time,Shadow came in wearing a G.U.N's jacket."Are you from work ,Shadow?"Sonic ask."Yeah...i managed to tell the agent about my absence.""Why don't you just go and do your work?"Shadow rub Sonic's hand."My work is important but you're the most important thing to me."Shadow kiss the blue hedgehog and Sonic break the kiss."Do you wanna know what is my real wish?"Sonic ask and Shadow nod."I wanna be like the way we before.I wanna you love me and care about me and do like we used to do."

"But,you reject my wish.""What is your wish?"Sonic surprised."It's not really my wish but...it's for Maria.I have to do this for her."Sonic wait for Shadow's wish."She want me to be with you so i become very happy even without her."

Sonic's POV

         I look at Shadow and it looks like that he want to have a second chance."Shadow... I'm scared."I hug myself."It's okey,Sonic.I feel scared too.I just don't want something bad happen to both of us if we love each other."Shadow said.I take his hand."Shadow...maybe we are not destined to be together."Shadow hug me."No...there has to be a way for me to love you."Suddenly,i feel that my disease has coming back and i accidentally push Shadow so hard."I'm...I can't live like this.There must be something else has happening inside me.""Sonic,what's wrong?"Shadow ask.

        "You...we...can be like this.I'm scared.Let's just forget about this and do our own work."I said and my body is shaking.There must be i'm sacred of."Sonic...let's go to my house."Shadow tell the doctor to take me home.Shadow pick me up an we went to his house.He put me on his couch."Are you okey,Sonic?"Shadow ask and what i just do is nod.I can't say anything to him."If there's something you want,just tell me."He walk away and went to the kitchen.I look around and this place almost give me insane."Grr...What is happening to me?"ask myself as i curl my body.I feel depress in a flash.

        Shadow came in."Sonic...are you hurt?"he ask.He rub my back and i feel so good."Shadow... don't stop.It feel so good."I purred."Sonic... I just wanna know.Why our life is so complicated?"Shadow ask while his hand rub my back."I don't know.What if we don't have to be together?"i said.I wondering if me and Shadow didn't love each other and live together."Sonic,do not talk about things that are ridiculous.""What?!... That's not ridiculous!!"I growl.Shadow stop rubbing and he turn me around."Look at me."he demand.But...i will look somewhere else and i didn't even do any eye contact with him.

         "This is so complicated."i said.Shadow move his face toward me and his lips almost hit mine."Shadow not now!!"I push him again."It's okey.I know this is complicated."Shadow walk away.Then,i feel something was behind me.I turn around and look behind the couch."I swear somebody was here peeking at me."i said.

Sonic,you will never be together with Shadow soon.I know what you think about him and i know you want your nightmare is over.
