Lara was a normal child. In a normal
family. She lived in Ireland with her Mam Dad and her older brother Eli.
When she was 3 her Mam started to take drugs. Her dad begged her to stop . But she wouldn't . He told her that he would leave. But still it didn't change her ways. Lara was never close to her dad because he was always at work . One night when Lara and Eli where in bed they heard their Mam and Dad argue. All of a sudden you could here was the front door slam . They ran down stairs to see
what happened and saw that Dad was no longer there. The next day they had to go to court. Eli and Lara were extremely scared they didn't get any sleep the night before so they were half asleep. Eli and Lara were best friends. Eli had a bad feeling about going to court. And he was right something bad happened. Their dad got custody of Eli and Lara had to live with their Mam. They started to cry.And since then Lara and Eli haven't seen each other in 9 years. And now Lara's 12 and Eli's 13. Lara found out that they moved to Toronto (Canada) .
Unfortunately for Lara , she will never see her mother again. She had a drug over dose and died. Lara tried and tried to wake her up. She called 999 but the ambulance didn't come in time .
