I spent hours and hours on figuring out what I wanted to wear, what I should say, but then I realized that I should just be calm and normal, and whatever happens, I should just accept it. I haven't freaked out so much since I went out my Cody. Anyway, I decided to wear a high low dress with flats. Connor didn't tell me where the date is going to be, since he wanted to keep it as a secret.

He texted me as soon as he got to my place.

Connor: U ready?

Bethany: 1 second

I was ready, but I just didn't think I was ready for another relationship, since Cody broke up with me. But I didn't want to keep him waiting any longer, so I forced  myself to go.

"Hey! You look really nice" Connor said

"Thanks. You do to. So where are we going?" I said

"Surprise" Connor said

I've lived in my area for quite a while, but I have never seen this part of my area. It looked like he was taking short cuts and different ways to get to where we were going, so it didn't give away the place where we are going to.

When we got there, the was a blanket set on top of the green grass, and a picnic basket.

"This is so sweet. You did all of this?" I said

"Yeah. I know it's not the best thing ever or a fancy restaurant with classical music in the background with candles. But-"

"But, it's amazing. I love picnics, so you're in luck" I said

"Have you ever met someone, and not know alot about that person and find it so easy to talk to them?" I asked

"Yeah" Connor said

"That's how I feel around you. I mean, before coming here, I was so nervous and didn't know what to do. But coming here, and being here with you makes me feel like I can trust you and you know so much about me" I said

"Thanks. That means alot" Connor said

After our picnic, we walked around I chatted for a while before we got back to my house. Connor stopped by a florist and asked me stay outside the florist shop. He came out with a dozen red roses.

"Wow! You didn't have to do this. You didn't have to do all off this" I said

"I know, but I wanted to do this for the best- the best girl" Connor said

"Wow! Thank you" I said

"You're amazing. You know that."

Connor walked me home and said good bye to each other.

"Um, I guess this is a good-bye" Connor said

"Yeah, I really enjoyed myself. Thanks for everything" I said

I walked in and went straight to my room, finding my friends in my room smiling and looking right at me. At this point, I didn't know what to do because I feel like they have been doing something without me behind my back.

"How was it?" Madison said

"The date? How do you know about that?" I asked

"Um, a little someone, which goes by the name Callum told me that you and Connor were going on a date" Madison said

"Oh, um, well the date was amazing. We had a picnic, talked and bought a dozen of red roses" I said

"That is so cute!"Audrey said

Me and the girls had a giggle and talk, before they left to go home

The next day was school. I wasn't  very sure of how  people are going to react when they find out that me and Connor went out the other day.

"Hey, Bethany. I heard that you and Connor went out." Maya said

"Yeah, we did" I said back

I looked over the other side and saw Tiffany giving me a dirty looked and scowled at me.

Tiffany walked up to me with her best friend Amber giving me, yet another look.

"You went with Connor?" Tiffany said

"Yeah, did you go out with Connor?"Amber repeated

"Shut- up Amber" Tiffany said

"Yeah, I did. And why do you need know?" I said

"No reason. Just beware of things which are out to get you" Tiffany said

"I'm not scared of you" I said

Well, that happened. Tiffany left and left me alone for the entire day.

"You alright?" Madison said

"Yeah, but I think Tiffany is out to get me." I said

"Don't worry about her. She is just looking for attention.
