ELLIE NEWMAN WAS known as the girl who lost everything that met the world to her. She watched her father die in the car accident, and later at the hospital her mother died. The car accident had been caused by her. But she had yet to find out about that, about what she could do. Charlie Swan had been called to the scene, he knew the family, they were his friends. It was hard to watch their daughter grow up without them in the picture.
CHARLIE AND RENEE had talked and agreed that they would adopt Ellie, and soon after they agreed to it they found out that her parents had named them as Ellie's adoptive parents in case they passed. A few months after she had been welcomed into the new home Renee left with Bella, leaving behind Ellie and Charlie. Renee knew that Ellie would be better off with Charlie which is why she chose to leave Ellie with him.
AFTER SHE GRADUATED high school she decided to travel for a bit. She wanted to see if college was really the path she wanted to take, she spent three years overseas traveling different places. But soon she came to realize that she wanted to go back home and live with Charlie. A few years after settling back in Forks, she bought her own bookstore growing to love books even more than she did when she was a child. Charlie had told her that Bella would be moving back in with them because her mother wanted to travel with her new husband.
ELLIE BECAME MORE excited as each day got closer until Bella's arrival. She would see Bella when she came for the summer visits, but it stopped when she got older and decided not to go anymore. It for sure had been a while since both Bella and Ellie had last seen each other. One of the most dangerous days, due to ice, had caused Bella to go to the hospital. Charlie had of course picked up Ellie from work and drove to the hospital, it was there that everything had started to change for her in ways that she never imagined and it started with Dr. Carlisle Cullen.
