Roxas sat on her bed thinking. Tomorrow was her 14th birthday, the day when all octolings and inklings moved to Inkopolis square to start thier life in the battling world. Ro was a tall, pale, octoling girl, raised in calamari country by two famous battlers who had found her by the entrance to the old subway station in Inkopolis square. She grabbed her phone and checked her insta-squid feed. As she scrolled through she let her mind wander around all the new friends she would make in Inkopolis. She thought of the past year, which she had spent practicing with her moms old e-liter deco. She thought of all the times that she had skipped school to hang out and have lattes with her friends. Before she let her mind wander anymore, her dad called. ITS TIME TO GO RO. She grabbed her bag and ran out the door. Her new life was about to begin.
