Yemi Wilson

I sat down with the girls as we ate our dinner with Derek who was talking to them a book they're learning to read at school. "Yemi? What a surprise? What are you guys doing here? Oh! Is this your boyfriend?" I rolled my eyes at her voice. "Yolanda, not right now, we're eating." I groaned, wiping my mouth.

"That's mummy's ring, mummy why does she have your ring?" Zania pointed out. "It's my ring now because you father is getting married to me." Yolanda explained. "But why?" What was she doing. "That's enough, Yolanda, leave." What was she trying to do?

"I was just telling her." She smiled like a dumb ass. "Mummy why is she marrying daddy? I thought he was married to you?" I knew they didn't quiet understand separation. "I think you should really go now." Derek stood up from his chair. "What are you doing here?" Great, more drama. I turned to Bentley. "Get your fiancee, she's telling the kids that you're getting married." I hissed at him.

"Yolanda, we said that we's tell them privately." He grabbed her hand. "It's gonna get out sooner or later." She grinned at me. Bentley glared at Derek who ignored him completely. "I think we should go, dinner was ruined but don't worry when we get to your house, I'll make something to eat and we'll watch a movie." That sounded pretty good.

"We're leaving, thanks a lot bitch." I rolled my eyes at them. Derek placed his bog, strong arms around me as we walked out the restaurant.

"You had one job and you couldn't even do that!!" She was trying to make my wife jealous but in reality, she was making my daughters hate me. "I just wanted to show her that you're mine. I don't see the problem." She shrugged at me.

"The problem is that I don't want my kids to hate me. They already hate being here with me. You'r making it worse. I love you and all but you need to stop or I'll loose my girls for good." She looked down in shame. "I'm sorry, Bentley, I haven't thought about it like that before." With that she kissed me. Sex, that's all she wanted from me.

With Yemi, I would actually feel some sort of love but with her, it's lust. "Let me make it better." She purred at me before getting on her knees. I never said I hated the sex. There was a knock on the door making her groan as I went to answer it.

"What are you doing here?" He looked me dead in my eyes. "Listen, Bentley, I'm going to talk to you man to man about something." He folded his arms and so did I. "What do you want to talk about?" He looked over my shoulder and I followed his gaze to Yolanda. "What's going on? Why is he here?" She asked, coming behind me. "Go inside." Was all I said. "Oh, okay?" She said as her footsteps disappeared.

"What do you want to talk about?" I repeated. "I want your fiancee to stop coming around my girlfriend. She's been coming at her work place and I don't appreciate that." I frowned. "I didn't know that." He rolled his eyes. "You need to get her under control before someone gets hurt. I'm talking to you as an adult. My woman doesn't need all this stress on her."

His woman? He really thinks that Yemi's his. She's my wife, nothing he says will tell me otherwise. "That's all I came to say." He turned his back to me. "Where are you going?" I asked. "I'm having a play date with Zania and Zamia. I promised they'd braid my hair." He smiled before leaving.

I clenched m fist until it turned white. She can't be with him! I won't have it. She's mine. So what if I'm getting married? She isn't supposed to move on. "Is he gone?" I turned to my fiancee. "He's gone." I have to talk to Yemi before this gets too far.

I sat in my office when Janice came in biting her lip. "What's wrong?" She looked at me. "Your ex is here and he won't leave until her sees you." He isn't serious. "Send him in." She nods and went to get him. This better be good. He walked in and smiled at me. "You look good, Yemi." I gave him my poker face. "What do you want? I'm busy."

He cleared his throat. "I just wanted to talk to you about Derek." I raised my brow at him. "What is the problem?" He folded his arms. "I don't want him around my daughters." I dropped my pen. "And why not?" I asked. "I don't want a man that I don't know, around my daughters! What if he touched them in the wrong way and you're not there."

"I'm always there with them and my girls will tell me if something is wrong so your point is invalid." He huffed. "I don't want you with this man, Yemi! Don't you see that I want you? I can't let you go!" He must be joking.

"You have five seconds to get out." He walked up to me. "You can't tell me that you don't love me anymore." My stomach dropped when he kissed the back of my hand. "You can't tell me that you don't feel those little butterflies anymore." My breathing quickened. It was true that some of my feelings were still there but I had a good thing going with Derek and he made me happy.

All the emotions that I had, he made them go away, he made them positive. I didn't know how I was going to make it this far, seeing my ex husband with my best friend but I'm doing just fine. "I don't think I love you anymore. I'm happy with Derek." I took my hand out of his and moved away.

"I'm happy, I'm smiling and he made me feel beautiful about myself. All you ever did was make me cry and insecure about my body. Do you know how hard it is to find a man that loves you and your kids like his own? I'm grateful for him everyday. You broke me down and he helped rebuild me. You are nothing to me, you're just the father of my children." He didn't say a word to me.

"Thank you for giving me two amazing girls but that's it." I opened the door looking at him. "I think it's time for you to leave. Never visit me again if it's not for the girls." Bentley just looked at me then walked out the door. I held my chest smiling. I was standing up to him.
