Ally's POV:

"Dinah, you've got to be kidding me. You're not swinging from a chandelier anymore, honey. You're dead ass underneath the 'chandelier' which in reality, is a freaking fan." I mumble the sass under my breath as I walk over to Dinah and try to remove her unconscious, heavy, drunk body out from under the fan. I could try to just straight-up remove her, but that'll result in a bunch of scrapes and wounds that I am not in the mood to clean up at the moment. I guess I could just start removing the pieces of the ceiling that came crumbling onto her body after she fell from the ceiling. Surprisingly, she's still alive and breathing normally. No need to go to the hospital unless there's blood or lack of awareness. I start removing pieces of the ceiling from her body and tossing them aside. One by one, the fan is even more visible and Dinah is still alive so we're good for now. By the way, Dinah snores. Honestly, I don't think that she's unconscious from the fall. I think she literally just passed out and went off to sleep cause this bitch snores louder than a tractor's engine roars. I finally remove all of the bits of the ceiling from Dinah and the fan, but when I go to lift up the fan from Dinah, I notice that her arm is bent backward and is twisted in a way that it really shouldn't be. I'm not really surprised, but goddamn is the sight a shitshow. I squat down to the ground and start lifting the fan off of Dinah's body. It's not as heavy as I imagined it to be, so I carry it with ease. I place the fan on the other side of the living room and return to Dinah.

"C'mon, Dinah. We've got a lot to talk about once you wake up." I start to carry her heavy body to the grey sectional carefully. I place her down, being cautious of her possibly broken arm, and start brushing the dust off of her. I examine the beautiful girl in front of me and can't help but smile at how perfect she looks even when she is a mess deep inside. I just wish that she had a little bit more common sense when it comes to things like this. I mean, I know this is all my fault, but Dinah is a grown woman and should be able to take care of herself when no one is around to do so. I continue to examine her for a while before noticing a few scratches on the surface of her chest. I frown and decide to take her shirt off and check for any other scratches or wounds that were caused by the fall. Her back is scraped up pretty badly and it's a bit bloody. I sigh as I get up and head on over to her kitchen. I look for a roll of paper towels and some hydrogen peroxide. I finally find both items and head back to the living room. I see that Dinah hasn't moved, but she's still breathing, which is great. I pour some hydrogen peroxide onto a paper towel and start rubbing her back gently with the burning liquid.

"Holy shit! What the fuck!" I'm startled by the sudden sound of a voice other than mine, but I realize that it's Dinah. She woke up. Oh, joy.

"Hush, Dinah. Calm down, it's just me. I'm cleaning you up, but this may burn a bit." I talk to her gently and she nods with tears filling her eyes.

"M-my arm hurts a lot, Ally, like, a lot." She tears up and I nod knowingly.

"I know, honey. Just try to relax as I clean you up. Then, I'll call over a guy that I know who can take care of you so that we can save you from paying medical bills." I tell her about my guy friend, Vito, who is really sweet and won't charge her for this one-time thing. He specialized in broken bones, physical therapy, and orthopedic technology. He has gone to medical school for multiple things and is always the best in each and every career he goes for. I don't understand that guy. I finish cleaning up Dinah and telling her about Vito. I throw away the used paper towels and put away the roll and disinfecting liquid. I grab my cell phone out of my pocket and dial Vito's number.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Vito, I need a favor. Are you busy?"

"Hey, Als, not one bit. What do you need?"

"My girlfriend just broke her arm after falling. Can you come over and try to fix her up? We're trying to avoid any high medical bills due to several visits to different doctors, but since you're kind of all around and you're literally the best, I figured you could help.

"Yeah, sure. Just text me the address and I'll be there as soon as possible. I'll bring my equipment to cast up her arm and some painkillers so that she won't suffer. See you soon."

"Thank you, bye." I hang up the phone and Dinah sniffles from the couch.

"Is he coming?"

"Yes, baby. Just hang on tight until he comes, okay?" She nods and I start rubbing her back gently.

"You called me your girlfriend." Dinah speaks up after minutes of silence.

"Yeah, I know. I don't have to be your girlfriend though if you don't want me to be." I nervously start to ramble and she shakes her head.

"I want you to be my girlfriend, but I didn't get to ask you yet." I chuckle softly as I sit by her side.

"Ally? Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes, Dinah-Jane, I'll be your girlfriend." I smile at her and she wiggles her eyebrows.

"Come here, babe. I want a kiss." She puckers her lips and I laugh as I walk over to her. I place a soft kiss on her lips and my heart bursts with happiness. Her lips are warm and taste strongly of liquor, but I don't care. She's Dinah, my girlfriend!. Vito walks into the house and catches us off-guard. He has a bunch of different things in his hands. I smile as I see my friend struggling to close the door. I head on over to him and greet him with a kiss on the cheek. I close the door for him and he walks on over to Dinah.

"Well, you're the patient, I'm guessing."

"Yep, sadly. I'm Dinah." Dinah frowns as she sits up carefully. She cradles her arm and Vito examines it. He nods slowly and begins taking out the equipment that he needs to cast it.

"What color cast do you want, Dinah?" She thinks for a moment before she opens her mouth.

"Red!" She says excitedly and I smile as I try to understand the mindset of the beautiful girl. It seems like she enjoys the simple pleasures in life. Not everything else that makes other people happy, but it's the small things that bring her joy. Vito starts putting the cast on her arm and her face contorts with pain.

"Baby, look at me. Focus on something that will distract you from the pain. Look, tits!" I lower my shirt so that my cleavage is shown and she smiles as her eyes shift over to my boobs. Vito finishes up with the base of the cast and starts wrapping it in red fabric.

"All done. Now, Dinah, I'm about to give you some painkillers, but you must only take the amount suggested. These are extremely addictive, so please only use them when you're in excruciating pain." Vito looks at his watch and frowns.

"I have to get going, Ally. I'll catch up with you another day. I hate that I rarely get to see you anymore, but I guess it is what it is. Also, you can cover up your tits now." My face flushes with embarrassment and he laughs as he carries his things to the door.

"Thank you so much, Vito. We'll see you soon!"

"It was no problem, my dears. See y'all later." He walks out the door and I focus my attention on Dinah.

"How are you feeling?" I ask her.

"Pretty okay. I deserve to feel a whole lot worse after what happened. Honestly, I don't even know what happened, but thank you. I'm so glad that you were here, and I'm so happy that you're my girlfriend. You make me happy." Dinah leans in for a kiss and I lean in as well.

"You make me happy too, Dinah." See? It's the small things in life that make Dinah happy, and right now, I'm that small thing.
