Life
is a brilliant spark of light,
 from which we are born
and through which we shine…

it’s a powerful expression
of God in you and I.

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind

It’s dazzling, frightening,

inspiring and heartbreaking.
It’s endless laughter
and tears in our eyes,
falling down
and learning to fly.

Life is complicated,
and it’s easy to miss the genius of it…
how it’s teaching us
and pushing us
just hard enough not
to break us,
testing us just enough
to show us that
we are conquerors.
Life is pushing us just 
just close enough to the edge 
 for us to seek God
with all our hearts
and find Him everywhere.

We are all broken, that’s how the light gets in.

God takes us on this incredible journey
just long enough for us
to really know and love someone,
to accomplish something
powerful enough to change the world,
to learn that the greatest
experiences of our lives
begin in our minds,
our prayers…
in the beautiful light within us.

Your eyes are windows into your body. If you open your eyes wide in wonder and belief, your body fills up with light

God gives us these
priceless moments as a gift.
It’s too short for us spend time
trying to fix or to regret
any of it…
Embrace it, celebrate it,
thank God for it.

As you have the light, believe in the light. Then the light will be within you, and shining through your lives. You’ll be children of light.

 Life
is a brilliant spark of light
that shines brighter 
when we smile and when we are kind…
when we forgive each other, and love one another.

It’s a beautiful expression
of God’s love for you and I.
