Brothers best friend {SPROUSEHART}

Part 1 ~ The beginning

Lili Reinhart is a smart, shy sixteen year old girl. She has always been kind of an outsider and liked it more to read then go out. She has lived with her mother and sisters for as long as she can remember and she thought it was fine, just the four of them.

Then one day (now already 1,5 years ago) when she was reading in her room her mom called her, so she walked downstairs. She told her and her sisters about the new man she met and had known for already a year.

Lili was shocked and didn't know what to think, of course she was happy for her mom, but she didn't want things to change.

She said the man named Keneti had a son KJ who was 2 years older then her and that they were going to meet him next week.

At the day they met she immediately knew she didn't like KJ, Keneti was ok though, but she hated KJ. He said he once saw her at school all alone, which made her mom worried.

Now one and a half years later a lot has changed. Lili has celebrated her fifteenth and sixteenth birthdays with them and even went on two vacations, so everyone could get to get to know each other better.

Today her mom was going to tell her and her sisters big news ands he was really nervous.

She walked downstairs and there they were KJ and Keneti at their kitchen table.

"Lets just go straight to the point right?" her mom said.

"We're going to move in together, we have already spotted a big enough house, because we thought it was time."

Lili stood up and walked away, she grabbed her book and left the house.

It was not like she wasn't happy for her mom it was just a lot to take. She walked to the park and started to read, she was so pulled into the book that she forget time and didn't know that she had been reading for over two hours. Her phone wasn't on and her mom was worried sick.

After spending hours at the park she decided it was time to go home.

When she got by her door, she rang the bell.

The door opened and her mom hugged her, but that quickly changed into anger, she pushed Lili away and started to scream: "Are you out of your mind? You've been gone for over 2 hours and I was worried sick."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know the time, my book it was so beautiful." She stumbled kind of scared by her mom.

"You have no right to just run away like that, are you nuts."

"Yeah and you have no right to turn my life upside down with your stupid boyfriend and his awful son. I hate you!"

She runs up to her room, slams the door and starts to cry.

Moving, her mom is making her move. She doesn't want to leave and she doesn't want to go live with that jerk of a KJ.

The next morning she wakes up with red eyes and puffy cheeks. She looks at her clock and sees that it's 11.00 AM, she must have been really tired.

She walks downstairs and sees a note at the counter:

At the store.

She supposes that her mom is still mad at her.

Then she hears a beep, she checks her phone, but it wasn't hers. Then she sees her mom forget her phone; she looks at the phone and sees she got a text from Keneti:

I bought the house!!

She immediately puts the phone away and gest mad again.

Moving, her mom is going to make her move, move away from the house she has lived in her whole live.

Lili is up in her room when she hears her mom and sisters getting home.

After 5 minutes she hears a scream of joy and supposes her mom read the text.

Then Tess walks into her room.

"Hey Lils, can we talk?"

She nods and then Tess comes to sit next to her.

"Look, I get it. It's a big change and you don't like changes, but can't you see how happy mom is. She just got a text Keneti bought the house and she was crying of joy. Just apologize, she loves you and I know you love her."

"Thanks Tess."

"Oh, I thought you needed to now that we're leaving in two weeks."

"What?!"

"I know, but it'll work out. I promise."

The two sisters hug and then Tess walks out.

Lili puts on her playlist and just listens, it is calming.

The day has come. Moving day. All of Lilis stuff is in boxes and she is ready, she doesn't want to go, but she knows she needs to.

"Lil, honey, are you coming?" her mother screams.

She takes one more glance at the room and then closes the door.

Walking down the stairs she pays attention to everything, every noise the stairs make, the rests of the mess she and her sisters made. Everything seems so wonderful, it's like she's leaving her youth, leaving it behind.

"Ready?"

She nods and walks out.

There she is, in front of her new house. Lili is dying to see it, but she needs to wait, cause Keneti has the keys.

Then a cars stops in front of the house and they walk out.

"Okay, guys. Your name is on the door of your bedroom and we'll show ou where everything is after you looked," Keneti says.

He opens the door and everyone runs upstairs.

Lili is searching for her room and then she sees her name.

She walks into a big bedroom with withe walls, a walk in closet, book shelfs everywhere and a big bed with pillows and hundreds of blankets. It's perfect, it is the room she has always wanted.

She walks downstairs and hugs her mom: "Thank you, I love it!"

Her mom and Keneti are smiling and when everyone is downstairs they get a tour.

The house has a bit of a weird device, like you need to walk threw the living room to get by the bathroom. But for the rest it's fantastic.

Only that she needs to live here with KJ who sleeps in the room next to her is a shame. But she'll get used to it, right?

Here it is, a new book. I hope y'all going to like it, cause I'm really nervous about how this is going to work out. I already have a lot of inspiration and I'm working hard on the next chapter. Please let me now what you think. Xx L
