Later that night, Audrey went over to Steven's house for dinner and to do homework. They were both in his room practicing magic.

Mrs. Ross came into his room. She was a tall woman who had long chocolate brown hair and brown eyes.

"You two better not get caught," she said. "You never know what the Muggles could do to us if we got exposed."

"We won't," said Steven.

Mrs. Ross shut the door.

Steven pointed his wand at Audrey and said, "Wingardium Leviosa!" Audrey started to float up in the air, laughing.

"Put me down," she said as she floated back down to the ground. She pulled her wand out of her jeans pocket and said, "Expecto Patronum!" A little hummingbird burst out of her wand and flew to Steven. He smiled.

Steven picked Audrey up bridal style and started to kiss her. They kissed until Audrey pushed him.

"What the hell are you doing?" she asked. "This isn't a makeout session!"

Steven laughed and said, "I love you, Audrey Marie McKinley."

"And I love you too, Steven Terrence Ross."

The two continued to work on their magic homework.

Later that night, Steven started to feel sick. He started shivering.

"Are you okay?" asked Audrey.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Steven lied. She can't know about this, he thought to himself.

Mr. Ross came into the room. He was a tall man who had balding brown hair and blue eyes covered with glasses.

"Is she ready?" he asked.

"Yeah," said Steven.

Audrey felt confused and asked, "What the hell is going on?"

"You better leave."

"Why?"

"You just have to."

"Okay...?" Audrey held back tears.

Mr. Ross and Audrey apparated from Steven's bedroom to Audrey's front door.

"Take care, Audrey," said Mr. Ross.

"I will," said Audrey as she opened her front door. Why the hell would he just keep a secret from me? He tells me everything, she thought to herself. Why would Steven keep a secret from his girlfriend?

She ran to her room and immediately fell asleep, trying not to cry. She heard wolves howling from a distance.

Four wolves ran towards Audrey's house. A large dark brown wolf with golden topaz eyes looked at the house with sadness. The other wolves ran off. The dark brown wolf kept standing there looking at the house until a large light brown wolf with yellow eyes came and gave him a sign that it was time to leave.

The other wolf ran off, and the dark brown wolf slowly went back to his pack.
