After dinner, Justin took Savannah to his favorite park. They walked the trail hand-in-hand. At the end of the trail, there was a bench. They sat down to talk more.
"So, I have heard that you came from Georgia. I have also heard a lot about Georgia," Justin began the conversation.
"Um, yeah. I really liked it there, but I'm glad I'm here," Savannah responded, confused.
"I have been told that Georgia is full of 'rednecks'. Is that true?"
"Yeah, i guess so. Why do you ask?" Savannah was even more confused now.
"I don't really wanna date a redneck. are you like them?" Justin stated.
Savannah stood up, offended. "No, I'm not. And I'm very hurt that you would stereotype all Georgians like that! If you are like that all the time, i don't wanna date you either!" Savannah began walking away.
"Wait, Savannah!" Justin tried to catch up to her but she started to run. There was no point in trying to catch her. She was very fast. This shocked and upset Justin. He couldn't believe he was being so stupid.
Savannah ran until she got to her house. she started crying about 2 miles back. It was a 10 mile walk. She went up to her room without a word. She called Sarah. She picked up on the third ring.
"Savannah, is something wrong?" Sarah was worried. she was spying on their date. She just happened to see them walking on the trail and decided to watch them to see how he was treating her. She didn't like what she saw.
"It's Justin. he is such a jerk. he-" Sarah cut her off.
"I know Savannah. i was watching you at the park. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have watched you. I just couldn't help myself," Sarah was disappointed in herself.
"Sarah, it's ok. I'm glad you were there. i don't have to relive the fight. i can't believe him! i thought he would be different. I have to go." Savannah hung up. She had to plan her revenge.
