On the long road of Anarchie that stretches up to 3km, only the static voice of a woman from a walkie-talkie can be heard. The blazing heat of the sun causes the police officers patroling the road to sit on their car lazily and point the aircon to their faces. Their eyes falling off and that shows how stressful the heat is.

Their lax state break off when an abrupt car whoosh past them followed by a police car siren. Suddenly, the radio rings an alarm sound and the officers straighten their back, listened to the radio. A voice of a man booms. "March Hare to Big Bopper. Assist on Code 3 Red Alert. March Hare to Big Bopper."

"Big Bopper here. What's going down?"

"We've got a cop-killer."

"You're kidding." The police stumble inside to start the car.

"Jesus Christ, Big Bopper! We're around three minutes off the intersection. Can you make it?!"

"We'll make it!" One police said on the radio then to the one who's driving he said, "Let's go!"

The car runs to life and they start to pursue the cop-killers.

On the other side of the road, a man slides off under the car. He was fixing his police car while listening to the situation from the radio. Apparently, someone stole a Pursuit Special, a police car. That someone is a psycho that goes berserk down in Sun City. The criminals break custody and kill a young police then took off using the Pursuit Special. The police team, March Hare, was on pursuit ever since 2 hours ago.

The man, Max, cleans off his hand stained with grease and dirt on his towel. He puts on his leather jacket then attached his gun and its holder on his belt. He keeps listening while getting on the car, ready to take off in case the pursuit doesn't go well.

"I've seen the style before. Terminal Psychotic."

The criminals on the run turn on the radio and the polices can heard them laugh maniacally. They were driving a V8 and that just means that the car they're driving were fast and the police might have a trouble to catch on them.

"I am the nightrider!" The criminal shouts and laugh. There's a girl laughing with him.

The Big Bopper team points their gun on the target while nearing the intersection. The police on the passenger seat tries to keep a steady aim but failed. The V8 was suddenly running straight at them, fast and not intending to stop. When it was a meter away from Big Bopper's car, the police driver tried to avoid it by turning left. The force of the turn cause them to hit another car on park. Big Bopper team cursed in shock while the nightrider laughs and shouts at the top of his lungs.

March Hare keeps following the criminals. They were nearing at the car but then the V8 suddenly turn to the side and turn again until the car was facing the side of the March Hare car. When March Hare's car was about to take a turn, the V8 runs then lurches at them. The side of the police's car got hit pretty badly that it became immobile when they try to start it again.

Big Bopper and March Hare report through the radio that they can't pursue the V8 anymore. And that's what Max is waiting for before he turns on the engine.

"Mad Max, here. I'm on it."

The polices sigh on relief and told Max to go get it.

Max on his car, being on the other side of the road, was facing the Pursuit Special running straight at him. He steps on the gas and took off straight and fast, not caring if the car on pursuit will hit him or not. But he didn't have to worry since the V8 turns left then drive straight again.

Max, fast on his reflexes, U-turned then follows the criminals. He steps on gas again, revving the engine faster. Suddenly, Max can heard the nightrider crying and the girl was asking him what's wrong. The nightrider said while crying that it's going to end and they're gonna die.
