Part 3 ~ The fight

Sorry for this shitty chapter, the next one will be better, I'm sure you're going to like it, if you get what I mean. 😏

The whole day Lili had been getting al lot of weird looks, weirder then normal. She didn't know why, until KJ stormed into the canteen, walking to her table.

He slams the table and starts to yell: "Are you insane, telling everybody that you're my step sister and that we're living in the same house. This isn't going to make you more popular or something like that."

Lili can feel the tears forming in her eyes, but she holds them back and says: "I didn't tell anyone. I don't know if you know, but I hate, I fucking hate you. I hate living with you, I hate seeing you in the morning, in the afternoon when I get home and I ate sitting next to you during dinner."

First she felt fantastic after saying that, but that changed quick; everybody was looking at her and KJ threatening. She was getting scared, she saw how mad KJ got yesterday, what if he does something to her?

KJ was coming in closer and closer, but then Cole steps between them and drags KJ away. Lili walks out the canteen right after that, cause she can't handle all those eyes staring at her.

In the hall she walks into Cole, again.

"He-hey," she stumbled out looking around.

"He's home, we had our last period before the break," he says comforting.

"Then why are you still at the school?"

"I wanted to check on you. He's not mad anymore by the way; he told the whole school himself, threw Snapchat."

"Well, I'm fine, but I can take care of my self."

"I know that, but he was going to hit you and I didn't want him to get in trouble," he says trying to make it look more normal.

"Well, I need to go to my next class. See you later," she says wanting to get out of the awkward conversation.

After school Lili immediately goes home, when she's home she wants to run to run to her room, but someone calls her from the living room.

She walks into the living room and sees KJ sitting on the couch.

"I don't want to hear it," Lili says, already walking away but then KJ says: "I'm sorry, I know it wasn't you, I shouldn't have got so mad."

"Well, good that you know that now, bye."

She walks to her room and starts on her homework, why do they already give so much at day one?

Cole was at home, in his room, lying on his bed. He was thinking at the pretty, shy, smart girl that he -what he keeps telling himself- "doesn't" like.

He was thinking about the scared look in her beautiful green eyes when KJ was screaming at her, about how she wants to take care of herself, when she just needs a bit of help. She was stubborn, but she still had something that he thought was perfect.

He was also kind of worried about her, maybe KJ got mad again and then she can be hurt, but he wouldn't do that, right?

He isn't sure, so he decides to call KJ, just to check and have a talk, he's bored anyway.

"Hey mate, everything okay," KJ says when he picks up his phone.

"Yah, just bored. Did you speak to Lili, you know after what happened."

"Yes, I apologized, but I believe she's still mad."

"Okay."

"By the way, my dad and her mom are out of town this weekend, so what do you think of a party at my house on Friday?"

"Nice, I'll gather people."

"Okay, see you tomorrow."

They hang up and Cole hopes that he'll get an opportunity to talk to her at the party, cause that will be normal, talking at a party.

He smiles at the thought of it and then grabs his laptop for some Netflix.

the next day at school a lot of people are talking about the part, and Lili catches some conversations. She wasn't updated to this.

She walks around the school, but can't find KJ, she decides to try at lunch, she wants to know what this is about.

In her lessons, she also hears people talking about it, you know those popular girls like Madelaine.

After that lesson Madelaine walks up to her: "Are you going to be there too, you know at the party, cause it's in your house."

She decides to ignore the question and walks away, she needs to find KJ.

She sees him sitting at a lunch table –surrounded with stupid girls and some boys, including Cole-. KJ sighs when he sees Lili and asks her what she wants.

"Well, I'm hearing things about a party onFriday, I wasn't updated to that, can you explain."

"I'm giving a party and it's in our house, clear?"

"Yeah, I got that part, I'm not stupid. Why didn't you tell me?"

"Then you would be like this, just don't tell your mom or my dad and it'll be fine."

She rolls her eyes and walks away. What a dickhead.

The week went by fast and before Lili knew it was already Friday, the day of the party. She asked Cami if she could stay there, but she couldn't, so she was out of options.

When Lili walked downstairs Keneti and her mom were already gone, they left a note on the counter. They went to some stupid attractions park with her sisters. Lili and KJ didn't want to join and that's how she got in this situation.

While eating breakfast KJ came downstairs, but immediately went to the bathroom, without saying a word. Not that she cared, she was still mad at him and if he would've said something it wouldn't be a nice comment.

At school the only the only thing she could think about was the party, she had never been to one before, she didn't know how it was, was after tonight her whole house destroyed? 

After a long day the bell finally went and she went home, stressing about the night that was going to come.

And believe me, it wouldn't be like she expected.
