"Rumor has it Mickey started talking the second she was born." Riley whispered to the girl next to her.
"Oh, I believe it." The girl whispered back, chuckling silently.
"She's just so weird." Riley said again, the girl smiling in agreement.
All Mickey could do was grin, and nodd.
Why?
She knew something they didn't.

Mickeys POV
The cold air enveloped itself around my warm body, whispering into my ear soft lies, as I held a staring contest with the blackness I knew I couldn't possibly win.
I reached in front of me helplessly for a wall or light switch, but already knew I would find nothing. even if I did find a light switch, I knew too well it couldn't work.
"Hello?" I called, hoping for a person I can't recall to come help me find my way through the blinding darkness.
"Mick," the person, whom I'll call Shadow for fun since I couldn't see them anyways whispered. They were close.
"Oh, thank God. I thought you left me here." I spoke to Shadow with a slight whine.
"No, I couldn't possibly do that." Shadow replied, their town turning menacing.
"Why... Are we here?" I whispered, fear inching into my tone.
"Just stay quiet, and you'll find out." Their words sent chills down my back, and caused hairs to stand up all over my body.
"No... Shadow, what are we doing here." I whimpered. I could feel their minty breath on my neck in the darkness, green eyes barely visible yet glowing in the black atmosphere as well.
"You know very well what we are doing here, love." From there I can only assume Shadow was a boy, but I also recall a pinch in my lower abdomen, which grew to an ever growing sleek pain, like a large piece of glass had gone through me. I tried my best to scream but no sound escaped. I shouldn't be here. This shouldn't be happening, I should be with Riley, I should be with Clementine, not here.
Blood rushed to my mouth, and I made my best attempt to ask why Shadow was doing this to me or to at least scream again, but I only choked and gurgled on the metallic taste flowing through my mouth.
I was choking.
But somehow, Shadow understood my gurgles and spits onto the ground, slumping down, my tears blinding the vision I never had in the blackness.
"Because I love you."
And I felt his lips press against mine as I lost consciousness.
