A/N It took me a while to write this chapter, i thought i would do a longer one than my first. I hope you like it, enjoy!

I arrived at the station just on time Liz was just getting out of her car; she looked up and spotted me “ELLA! You’re not late for once!” she yelled excitedly. “I know that’s because I walked, you never believe me when I say my parents are the ones who usually make me late”

She had a guilty look plastered on her face. “What is it?” I asked. “It’s just that the others won’t be here for another ten minutes, I thought you would be late. Well you usually are anyway so I told you we were meeting earlier, and I just came early in case there was traffic.”

Trust her to do that, she hates waiting around for people who are late. “You’re lucky I’m here now or you would have had to wait by yourself for ten minutes.” She replied with a smirk. “That would of been great wouldn’t it” I smirk back.

She suggested that we sit in her car whilst waiting for the others. I climbed into the back seat of the car and Liz sat next to me. The car was so warm compared to outside, I hadn’t realised how red my hands had gone. The Fugees ‘Killing Me Softly’ played faintly in the background.

“Hello” Liz’s mum warmly greeted. “Hello, are you sure it’s okay for me to stay round tonight? I don’t want to be a bother” She turned her head and faced me; I was sitting diagonally across from her. “Don’t be so silly! It’s no bother; you know you’re more than welcome to come round any time you like”

I didn’t really know what to say now, I felt quite awkward.  “Thank you” I tried to say but my voice failed on me and it sounded more like a whisper. I cleared my throat and tried again “thank you”.

I turned to Liz and she was smiling at me, her brown frizzy shoulder length hair framing her face. She too was mix-raced like me. Her skin was much paler than mine and you could see the likely resemblance between her and her mum. She was like a mini version of her.

So far I only know that Anna’s coming on this trip with us. I returned a smile “So who else is coming today?” She looked down at her arm and checked the time. “It’s going to be us two, Anna and Charlotte. They should be here around about now, its ten past.” I nodded “okay”

I looked out the window and saw a car pull up, I’m pretty sure it was Anna who stepped out of the car. “Hey, is that Anna over there?” Liz leaned towards my window and squinted “I think so”.

“You should wear your glasses you know” she looked at me “I know, I know” she sighed “But I left them at home”  “You always forget them” She chuckled and grabbed her bag “Come on lets go, we don’t want to leave them waiting.” She smirked at me. I gave her a playful death glare in return. We said our goodbyes to her mum and I thanked her, then we made our way over to Anna.

Her long hair was blowing frantically in the wind; it was nearly down to her waist. She smiled and waved as we approached her. “Oh my god, it’s so cold!” she exclaimed as she rubbed her hands together.

Then she did something i wasn’t expecting, she hugged me. I guess in attempt to warm up. I felt uncomfortable with the situation, but i tried to shake it off. I hugged her back and i could hear her teeth chattering.

She was the smallest in our film studies class, the perfect height for me to just rest my head on top of hers as we waited for Charlotte to arrive. “Where is she?” she muttered sounding slightly distressed. “I’ll ring her, she shouldn’t be too far now” Liz said. I and Anna nodded in agreement. Liz got her phone out of her pocket “shit I’ve got 5 missed calls from her, my phone was on silent” she said and then took a few steps away from us, putting her phone to her ear.
