It was around three in the morning and Daniel and I were completely stoned laughing out asses off at Army of Darkness ( a classic if you haven't seen it!)
Daniel and I had spent the whole night talking about everything and absolutely nothing at the same time. Though I asked he didn't tell me much about himself, all I knew was that he lived in the forest outside of town and he was a rouge.
Why was he hanging around our pack?
Daniel was a pot dealer, he sold weed to my brother, Mason and pretty much all of their friends. Mason being Alpha allowed Daniel to lively our territory as a rouge and as long as he gave him good weed no harm would come to him.
"So why don't you and your brother get along?" Dan asked out of the blue. My face went pale, I didn't want Daniel to know about my past. He'd probably end up hating me like everyone else.
"It's complicated." I murmured avoiding eye contact with him.
"Alright I get it." Dan chuckled "Unfortunately we can't chose our family."
"What about your family?" For a brief moment a dark emotion swept across Daniels face, he closed his eyes them opened them and smiled.
"It's complicated." He retorted and I got the hint. I guess we've all got our own shit.
The movie was almost over when I started to feel tired. I laid back in my bed closing my eyes for a minute until I felt Daniel following my motion. My eyes shot open and I looked over to him.
"I'm sorry, I should go shouldn't I?" Honestly I didn't want him to leave.
I had never felt so happy so...normal. Daniel was the funniest, sweetest guy I had ever met in my entire life. Being with him I lost all thought of Mason, being rejected, the pack and Connor.
"You don't have to go if you don't want to." I said barely above a whisper blood rushing to my cheeks.
Daniel grinned like a child in a candy store he kicked his shoes off and pulled off his flannel revealing a Black Sabbath shirt and some wonderfully sculpted tattooed arms. I couldn't take my eyes off of him, he was so handsome.
"Wanna take a picture? It'll last longer?" Dan chuckled, I realized I had zoned off staring at him. I gasped blushing even more I looked away causing him to chuckled more. Dan wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to his side.
"You're so cute." He mumbled running his hand through my hair. I snuggled into his side and everything felt right for once. Slowly I drifted into the best sleep I've had in years with Daniel snoring lightly at my side.

I probably slept for about three hours before the sun started peek through the small window in the attic. I stretched slightly feeling warmth behind me I remembered Daniel was still in my bed with me. Last night rushed back to my head and I couldn't help but smile. I actually had a friend. I didn't even care about Mason or the party or Connor...
Wait Connor. SHIT! He's gonna be awake soon, the house is probably trashed. I'm so fucking dead!
I sat up quickly in bed waking Dan up in the process. Shocked by my sudden movement Dan leapt out of bed into a protective stance and pulled a 9mm Baretta out of his flannel that was wrapped up on the floor. His hair was sticking up in various directions, eyes still full of sleep. Daniel clicked the safety off the gun and stared aiming in different directions as if he was looking for an intruder.
"What's wrong?! Who is it?!" He whisper yelled in a panic. I still couldn't get over the fact that he just pulled out a fucking gun. Was this guy serious?
