The council

Hiccup's Pov
As I lead our Viking guests through the village towards the Council Cave, many people and dragons bowed or greeted me on our way there. Yes, I had an authority here, but I liked that some people treated me like a human being, not a human-dragon hybrid prince.

The Vikings looked like they'll sh*t themselves, probably from the number of dragons around. Hey in this village everyone has a dragon companion. So no surprises there. Mom was still angry but managed to calm down after the twins looked out of their volcano. I was surprised when they did. I know mom can be loud when needed to, but the distance from harbor to the volcano is about 2 miles!

"Is it just me or does one of them look like you son?" She suddenly whispered.

"Yeah looks like it. Dagur says they're my bio family." I replied to which mom's eyes widened and she put her hand around my back and onto my shoulder while giving the Vikings an 'I-don't-care-you're-his-family-he's-staying-her' look. They stopped for a second but recovered quickly.

"Well, we are here," I told them as we arrive at the Dragon Hall. On top of the hall sits Red Death's skull, so it's easily recognizable from a long distance. As we enter you can see long tables with benches and large bowls on pillars filled with fish for dragons. On the end, there were two thrones, one wooden and the other made of ice. We walked by them and into the room in the back. It had a staircase leading down below the ground. When we arrived at the bottom, you could see a tunnel, rail tracks and a tank of water with fireworms resting under it. I pulled a lever and an iron pole attached itself to the tank and started rotating (it's a steam engine) with several mechanical sounds echoing throughout the tunnel and soon a cart came speeding towards us.

"Wow, nice engineering." said one of the girls, I think she is also related to me since she also has brown hair and green eyes. I smiled, it's nice if someone compliments your work.

"Thanks, I designed it myself and with help of Shredder I also made this, but without these guys, I wouldn't be able to make it work," I said while gesturing to the Fireworms. We then entered the cart, the Vikings little hesitant, and then I pulled another lever, which started to pull us towards the council hall.

"So, how about we clear some things up?" I offered.

A really long explanation later

"Alright, so I am your long-lost son Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the Third, brother of Hayden and Freya." I summed it up.

"That is correct, son." My supposed dad said. I then notice that we have arrived at the council hall, a huge cavern with three giant tunnels that lead to different parts of the Isle. From them, four giant dragons appeared.

Frost, a white Bewilderbeast and my "father".

Shredder, a white Screaming Death.

Black Death and Green Death, children of Red Death.

"MEET THE DRACONIC COUNCIL OF THE DEFENDERS OF THE WING TRIBE," I scream out with a smile.

Sorry about the short chapter, but I promised two chapters this week and it got a little complicated. Also because nobody actually voted on the new book, this will be the only thing I publish today.

Also, I recommend Grammarly for those who write on a computer, the free version will help your grammar a lot. I am not sponsored by them, I am just giving a friendly advice to my fellow writers.

Anyway, bye have a beautiful time.
