Chapter 5

Diggy P.O.V

After the little argument that Meghan and I had last night, I wanted to find a day where she could meet my family very soon. So I decided to call my mom and see when she was free. 

*Phone Conversation*

Diggy: Hey mom.

Mom: Hey baby! What’s up?

Diggy: I just wanted to ask you when you free for dinner? Theres someone I want you guys to meet.

Mom: How about this Friday?

Diggy: I’m not free then, me and Khalil are in the studio that day. How’s Saturday?

Mom: Sounds great! Can’t wait to see you guys! And, this person we’re meeting, is it your girlfriend?

Diggy: Yes mom. 

Mom: Aww! Well I can’t wait to meet her. If you’re bringing her home, she must be special! I love you.

Diggy: Love you too mom. 

*End of Conversation*

That was now taken care of. I just hope Jojo wouldn’t be there. He had this habit of flirting with everybody. He didn’t care if they were 18 or 80. I didn’t want to tell Meghan that he did that, because it might freak her out. I would just make sure she was by my side the whole time. “Meg!” I called up the stairs. She came down the stairs a few seconds later. “Yeah, what’s up?,” she said. “I just talked to my mom, and we can go to dinner at my house on Saturday, so you can meet the fam.” “Really? That’s great baby! I’m so excited!” She was this excited to meet my family? Didn’t she ever watch Run’s House? They were hella embarrassing. She must really love me.” She came up to me and kissed me, it had been a few days since that had happened, and it felt good. “I’m glad you’re excited. I know how important family is to you now, and I’m sorry I didn’t realize that earlier,” I said. “Its ok, I kinda overreacted. Let’s watch a movie! I know your gonna be in the studio tomorrow, so can we spend ether rest of the day together,” she asked, with her puppy dog face. I was really tired, because we stayed up late last night, but I would be away all day tomorrow, so I guess it made sense to spend today with her. “Sure, babe. Let’s go.” 

Aspyn P.O.V

When I woke up, I immediately thought of what happened last night with Jaden. I got Yup and brushed my teeth, changed, and went downstairs to the living room. I knew he would be at the window. “Um, hey. Can we talk?,” I asked him. He nodded his head. “I was thinking, and I 

wanted to say that even though last night shouldn’t have happened, we can just put it behind us. Just friends right?” He shook his head. “But that’s the thing, Aspyn, I don’t want to be just friends. I want to be much more than that. I thought you could tell. ” He took my hands in his. “Aspyn, since the day I met you, I knew you were special. You weren’t like all those other girls who only liked me because of my money, or who my family was. When we talk, it seems like I’ve known you my whole life. I just want you to be mine.” He then kissed my hands. He just asked me out. I really liked him, but would I be able to take all the publicity? And his Jadenators, the extreme ones at least, might come for me! But I did really like him. I was willing to go past all of that for him. “Yes, I will Jaden,” I said wrapping my arms around his neck. “I was hoping you would say that,” he said with a smile. “Awwww!” I turned around to see my girls in the doorway. “How long have you guys been standing there?” I asked. “Long enough to know that you guys are together! Took you long enough, Jaden!” Heart said. Everyone laughed. Today was the best day of my life, and nothing could wreck that. 

Spin P.O.V

Today was day one of the plan. I was supposed to walk around the whole day with my shirt off. From what Dig said, she won’t be able to resist my abs. I hope he was right, because Melanie was a toughie. I was wearing some basketball shorts. I walked down the stairs. No one else was downstairs, just Melanie. “Morning,” I said. She again didn’t say a thing. “I know you don’t want to talk to me, but saying good morning is common courtesy.” “Whatever. Morning,” she mumbled. “I’m making eggs and bacon. Do you want any?” I asked her. I hoped she’d say yes, because I had a little something planned. “Sure,” she said. I made some poached eggs, bacon, and some toast. I cut her egg in the shape of a heart, and arranged the bacon So it said I and You, with the egg heart in the middle. The butter on the toast was even in the shape of a heart. I gave her her plate, flexed my arms a couple times, then left the room with my food. 

Melanie P.O.V

Spin had made my food so it said I Love You in eggs and bacon. This was so sweet of him. I really wanted to give in, but I had to stand my ground. When he actually came out and said ‘I like you’, I would tell him how I felt. I started eating. I didn’t expect Spin to know how to cook, and well at that! And his abs, oh my gosh. I almost fainted. But I was strong. I wanted someone who could tell his feelings, not hide them.
