"$100.00 dollars for this lady over here" said the dealer as he shuffled the cards.

Here I am at a casino instead of Lukeman High School.

Oh well who cares! I'm winning big at this poker game.

These men are suckers for thinking I'm just a little girl who's wasting her money. "Another $100.00 for this young lady over here" said the dealer.

I scooped up my winnings and put them in my backpack.

$200.00 already! I'm striking gold! Just as I was about to pick up my cards for another round of poker a huge powerful hand grabbed my puny shoulder.

As I turned around my face dropped to the pit of my stomach as I stared at the shiny badge that was a few inches away from my nose.

It read "Lukeville Police Department".

"You're coming with me" said the hefty police officer.

As I walked out of the casino I thought my mom's gonna kill me when she finds out I was gambling instead of going to school.

I've been in high school for about a year and I've never seen a faster way to earn money. This is probably the best way to earn money especially if you're under aged which my fake I.D says I'm not.

As we make our way to the police car my heart starts to pound and I break out in a sweat.

I think I should make a run for it, but the last time I checked I can't outrun a car so I'm pretty much on my own.

When we reach the car the hefty police officer opened the back door. I slid into the back seat feeling like a criminal.

I heard the car engine roar to life and we started to drive out of the parking lot. I looked through the rear mirror and saw the hefty police officer.

He looked kinda cute with his uniform and manly muscles. Oh Shut up Haliey! Here I was about to get arrested and I'm here looking at the police officer with goo goo eyes.

I blushed profusely as I thought about what I had done. I didn't really care if I was getting arrested. All that mattered is that I played a great poker game and won $200.00.

As we arrived at the police station my heart started to pound against my chest. Reality came into mind. Now it really dawned on me that I could be going to the slammer for a long time. I could be away from a poker game for a while and that's never really happened before.

I couldn't bear the thought of not earning money for a couple of years.

As the hefty police officer opened the door of the police station the smell of misery and depression filled my nose.

Gross!!! Haven't they ever heard of air freshener?

As I waited another police officer came to escort me to the holding cell. The place smelled so foul that my nose haired burned with every breath that I took.

I thought they would let me go with a warning or something since I'm still a minor, but I was in for a rude awakening.
