"Is this your way of making our relationship public earlier than planned?"

"Well, no but if you want to than I guess we could"

"It'd get my mother off of your back quicker"

"That sounds nice"

"We have to have fun with this, like mess with people and drop huge hints about the relationship"

"Uhh ok" I told him to take out his phone and I grabbed mine. If I had to do this, I might as well have fun with it. I just have to tweet where I am and people come swarming and with Austin here it'll be twice as big.

@AustinElliot: Gotta watch this girl ;) @Williams_Katy #Mastermind

Thousands of retweets rolled in, if it was a contest I would win but who's keeping track? Our lunch came, it was some sort of pasta dish. I have to admit, Austin has good taste in food, it's very surprising. We ate and read some of the retweets we got. It was actually kind of a nice lunch, I had fun spending time with him.

Austin held my hand gently as if I might break, the crowd was outside rushed to us as we walked out the doors. The girls flocked to both of us wanting photos and autographs. I signed so many, my hand was beginning to ache. Even my mouth hurt from making silly faces at the camera. A few guys were there but they only came over to flirt with me.

"Hey sexy" a blonde boy said.

"Umm, hello?" It was kinda silent while they all smirked at each other "is there something you wanted?"

"Yeah but you can't give it to me here" the blonde winked at me. He was kinda cute but seemed like a complete douchebag.

"I don't think so"

"She's just playing hard to get, mate" his brunette friend said into his ear loud enough for me to hear.

"No, sorry but I'm really not"

"How about you come over to my place later and we have a little fun" an arm wrapped around my waist and pulled me. I looked up, it was Austin. Thank goodness, I don't think I've ever been happy to see him. Perverted jerks.

"Can I come as well?" Austin said looking at all of them. He towered over all of them and he stared them down.

"You didn't say you were taken"

"I told you I wasn't playing hard to get"

He started to walk, the brunette boy turned around and muttered 'slut'. Before I could even comprehend what had happened Austin had already started to shout at them. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY ABOUT MY GIRLFRIEND? WANNA COME BACK HERE AND SAY IT AGAIN ASSHOLE?!?!" They began running and when he calmed down a little, we walked back to the car.

He took me back to the hotel and decided he would be a gentleman and walk me upstairs, we ran into Niall and the boys in the lobby. Looks like they were heading out. They seemed surprised when walked through the door.

"Who's this?" Harry asked.

"Oh, this is Austin, my boyfriend"

"Oooooh, don't have too much fun you two" Louis winked and Harry patted Austin on the back as they walked off. I was embarrassed and I could tell Austin was too, neither of us has ever been through this and it was all just one big awkward situation.

"Who were they?"

"Uhh just some friends, cheeky ones though"

Austin and I headed up to my room. I tried to invite him inside but he wouldn't come, I'm not sure if he was uncomfortable or trying to be gentlemanly. I ended up spending the evening alone watching 'Pirates of the Caribbean' on my iPad. I would've preferred company but perhaps next time.

I ended up watching the first three movies. They are my absolute favourite, ever since I was ten I've had a crush on Johnny Depp. I mean, what sane girl wouldn't? He's gorgeous!

A knock on the door came at about 6. My mother poked her head through the door babbling about some big news she'd heard from a little birdie. The news was Austin and me dating, I hardly see how this is big news but hey this would be music to her ears.

She rambled off questions like crazy, 'where is he now?' and 'what are you two doing tomorrow?'. I didn't have any answers.

Most kids, when they get into a relationship, their parents tell them to be safe and use protection, that kind of thing. Not my mother, she told me to be as reckless as I wanted, not even so much as a 'use protection'. Does she want accidental grandchildren? I think so. Something like that would bring more focus onto our lives, just like this relationship.

She eventually left me alone after springing another interview on me for tomorrow. I'm going to need my energy so I spent the rest of the day sleeping to my music without another disturbance.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My interview was on a morning show, which meant I had to be up at 3 for a live 6 o'clock interview. As expected my mother burst through shouting 'good morning sunshine', how could she say that? Not even the suns up this early. Not exactly my idea of a nice wake up call.
In the car my mother briefed me about the topics I needed to steer towards like Austin and the last pageant. She decided that our relationship was to become completely public, neither Austin nor I got any say in it. When I asked if we got any choice she said that 'he's a man, what would he know about what's best for a relationship' and that I was 'to young and innocent'.
I swear when my mother gets old, she's going straight to an aged care home. I've had to deal with her for over 18 years, someone else can deal with her 18 years. To be honest, I don't know how she's still married!
It was nearing 6 o'clock and my makeup was only just getting finished. I was lead back through the corridors and into a room with two single lounge chairs and a small glass table. The lights in the studio were really bright, I think it was tanning my skin.
I can't lie, I was nervous. It doesn't matter how many interviews I've done, I'll always be nervous. The interviewer shook my hand and introduced herself as 'Georgia Thomas'.
The camera man gave the signal, 3, 2, 1...
"Welcome back everyone to the 6am News Program, and let me be the first to say welcome to our guest, Ms Williams. How are you enjoying your stay in California?"
"Thank you, it's been fantastic. I love this place!"
"We love having you" She peers down at her notes. "Yesterday your tweets with Austin Elliot went viral, is there something going on?"
I let out a laugh. "Well, we were going to wait before making it public but..."
"But?" She asked "are you a couple?" I replied with a 'yes' and an embarrassed smile, it's gotta be believable. Out of the corner of my eye I see my mother, she gives me the 'keep going' look.
"We've been together for about two months now"
"Ohhh, I think we all want to know how it started"
"Uhhhh" I blushed a little "we met at my fathers monthly business meeting, 3 months ago, after a month we knew we wanted to be together"
"Sounds like a fairy tale"
"Sure was"
"Well, it's time for a break but we'll be right back with more of the lovely Katy Williams!" The lights dimmed a little and Georgia got up and walked away, her shoes making the clopping sound as she did.
My mother waddled over to me as I slumped down into the chair. "That was excellent, make them believe it" my mother doesn't know I know the relationship is set up. I want to catch her out.
"But it is real mum" I looked at her curiously "he's my boyfriend"
She looked slightly taken back. "Of course it is darling!" Georgia came clopping back and my mother waddled away.
"You ready?" Georgia smiled at me.
