It was the morning of my fourth night in the forest and I decided to get a fire going because it was now December... December the 1st. My birthday. To be spent with a man I've only known five days and is being chased by the cops. Am I crazy? Probably. But not insane. No, not insane.

I got the fire going and started to heat up some sausages that Josh had got me to buy yesterday.  I put my headphones in and started to listen to Fall Out Boy because why not. Without knowing I must've started to sing along with The Pheonix because I felt a rough hand tap my shoulder.

"You a fan too?" Josh asked me with a teethy grin.

"Yeah, i've liked them for a while..." I said taking my headphones out and passing him a sausage. "You know your pretty good on the drums"

"Thanks I've been playing since I was eight years old, drived my mom insane though" he chuckled.

I completely forgot that Josh didn't see his mom anymore... "I don't want to upset you but what happened to your parents?" I asked him, and immediatly I wish i hadn't.

"I don't really like talking about it..." he replied his mood now flattened.

"Oh, thats fine. Sorry for bringing it up..." I said "Want something else to eat?" I asked tring to change the subject.

"Sure." he replied, his mood lightening up a bit.

The day carried on as it normally would if you lived in a treehouse and me and Josh decided to get some rest.

I woke up in the middle of the night to some weird laugh, I waited and listened for it to happen again... but it didn't, so I just turned over and tried to get some sleep.

"WOW! Great mansion you have their!" someone shouted out which made me jump out the hammock and frantically look around. I couldn't see anyone and it began to freak me out.

"Down here!" they shouted again. My eyes turned straight too the same group of teenagers stood under the treehouse that I saw on the way to Taco Bell.

"Feeling cold? This'll warm you up!" two of them yelled, well it might've been only one of them, I wasn't taking notice. My head killed and everything was happening in slow motion.

Breathe Tyler, breathe!

One of them had a lighter and a match. I didn't think much of it until they threw it up and it landed on the wooden planks of the treehouse.

"Run!" a boy shouted and they all rode off on their bikes.

Black.

I had fainted.

I had fainted but I was still conscious, I could feel the heat around me. I NEEDED to wake up! Josh is still asleep and I can't let him get hurt, not after the way he saved me.

WAKE UP.

PLEASE!
