It's been a couple of months and everything went back to normal. Yolanda had her funeral and what not. I wasn't feeling well and I didn't want to stay at home by myself so I went to my sister's. I knocked on the door and the first thing I was greeted with was a screamed. "Nina, what's wrong?" Marcus ran into the room, looking concerned.

"She's pregnant!!"

Marcus looked at me with shock. "Really?" I nod smiling. I found out the day of the funeral but I didn't say anything to Derek yet. "Congrats." He hugged me. "Does he know yet?" She asked. "No, not yet, I'm thinking about surprising him with the news then the girls." I have gotten bigger, my clothes were super tight on me so I had to buy bigger ones. I know I should feel some type of way when it comes to this but I don't.

He took away all my doubt. "That's so amazing. Another baby around here." Rubbing my stomach. "How are you gonna tell the girls?" Will they want a sibling? "We'll see when I tell them later." We sat down together and talked about things. "When was the last time you spoke to Bentley?" She asked me. "I haven't spoken to him in a while. He doesn't call to see the twins and I haven't seen him since the funeral." 

Maybe he's still hurt from Yolanda passing away. Even though they did something to me that I can't forgive, I wouldn't wish death on her. My sister would but not me. "That's strange, after all that shit he put you through and he doesn't come see the girls? Was Yolanda his reason?" I shrugged but honestly it doesn't bother me though. "The girls don't mind, they say that he scares them."

When the girls saw their dad at the funeral, they ran behind me. I was really confused. Bentley probably was just tired. No matter how hard I tried to let the girls hug him they wouldn't. "Don't take that lightly, kids see things at adults can't see." Marcus pointed out. Which was true. A couple years ago, Marcus was driving home with their eldest son, Christian and he spotted a man following them.

Turns out it was a woman who had his eyes on Christian for a while. Don't worry, she's dead, she gave the police a fight and they ended up shooting her. "I'll talk to them when I pick them up from school." Nina looked at her watch then at me. "Which is now, so chop chop."

I looked at my phone. 2:10 already? I waved to them and got in my car driving off. Sorry babies, mummy's gonna be late today.

Bentley Jones

I stood outside the school as kids ran out to see their parents. I looked around seeing that Yemi wasn't here yet. Now is my chance. "Daddy?" I turned to my beautiful Zania and Zamia. "Hey girls." I smiled at them but they stepped back. "What's wrong? Why don't you girls give me a hug?" I stepped to them but they stepped back once more.

"We don't want to." Zania whimpers. Derek stole my kids away from me. That fucker! "Why not?" I knelt down. "Because you look scary, daddy." Zamia teared up. Scary, huh? I don't want my daughters to think I'm scary. I just wanted a hug. "I'm sorry, girls, daddy didn't mean to be scary, I'm just super tired."

"Well you should get more sleep, Derek always tells us that." Don't get mad Bentley, you want them to come with you. "He's totally right. You know what would make me feel better?" They looked at me waiting for me to finish my sentence. "Let's go for ice cream like we use to."

Their eyes brightened. "Zania? Zamia?" Shit!! "Mummy over here!!" Zamia shouted. "Let's all go for ice cream." She smiled brightly. "I have to go now but maybe next time." They frowned at me as I fled from them to my car. I was so close, dammit!! So fucking close.

"Next time, Bentley, you didn't plan it enough." I looked at my reflection in the mirror as it spoke back to me. "You idiot, you think that she'll come back to us?" I nod. "She has to, we need her. We made a mistake, she could forgive us!" He laughed at me. "The more we do this, the more we loose her." That's not true.

"Don't listen to us, you know that she's the only woman for us, no other woman can make us happy." I turned to the mirror on the passenger side as it opens. "This is the only way to get her. We know her and she will fall for us when she sees how we took care of our daughters." He was right.

"No, this is wrong-"

"What do you knw-"

"We'll loose her for goo-"

I held my head in my hands as the voices got louder and louder. "Shut up!!! Shut the fuck up!!" I snapped my eyes open to see that they were gone. "I'm going to do this my own way." I started the car, driving off.

I looked to where my daughters were to see a hooded figure. My heart sank as I ran to them. The person got up and walked off. "Hi mummy!" Zania smiled. I knelt down. "What did I tell you girls about speaking to strangers?" They frowned. "That was daddy, he was going to take us for ice cream but then he got busy all of a sudden and left." She shook her head.

"Daddy? Are you girls sure?" They nod. "But he didn't look so good. Under his eyes were really dark and he smelt really bad too." I didn't feel safe all of a sudden. "Come on, let's get you girls home." I got them into the car and looked around before getting in myself and driving off.

When we got home, I made us some dinner and we sat and ate. "I wanna talk to you girls about something really important." They looked at me with their big eyes. "What is it mummy?" Zamia asked."Well I wanted to let you girls know that you are gonna be big sisters!" I smiled but they looked confused.

"How?" Well this is gonna be hard. "Well I ate some magic mushrooms and now there's a baby in my tummy." Again they looked confused. "Can I have some magic mushrooms too?" I shook my head. "Only big girls can get these." Zamia pouted. "How did the baby get in there?" She pointed my stomach. "That's a story for another time but it's there."

Silence took over but then they smiled. "We're gonna be the best big sisters ever!" Oh thank God! "You girls sure are! I'm gonna be a mummy for another amazing baby." They grinned at me. 

"Mummy? Another baby?" I snapped my head to the voice. Derek stood there looking pale as ever. "You're pregnant?" I bit my lip, nodding. Derek laughed, walking to me with his arms wide open. 

"I'm so-" He dropped to the floor. He had just fainted.

"Oh no! Mummy is Derek okay?" They ran to him. All I did was shake my head. "He's fine. Just give him some time." Zamia shook her head. "He told us that sleep was good for us and he can't even take his own advice." The girls shook their heads at him.
