Sophie’s Pov
“So this is the shitty bastard that left you.” Levi growls.
I sigh and start to make up a bed for Levi, mostly so I didn’t have to look at his face, “Yep, pretty pathetic isn’t he?”
“He should be castrated for pulling such a move.”
Fluffing up a pillow I toss it down at an end of the couch, “Well unfortunately that won’t happen. I mean I don’t even know where he is anymore. Not a single word in about two almost three years and I have to say that it hasn’t been so bad.” Sitting down for a moment I smile bitterly as the memories surface yet again.
Warm hands are placed on my shoulders, “I’m sorry, I wish I knew what to tell you.”
“It’s okay I don’t really know what someone would say to me either. I mean really it’s just something I have to accept and try to get over. I don’t love him anymore, I know that much, but there’s still so much about that time of my life that I feel hasn’t been finished or closed off. I feel like there’s still something more that I have to do before I can put this all behind me. I just don’t know what.”
“I can’t help you with that, the one relationship I ever had lasted as long as dinner.”
I giggle at that and bump his shoulder with my own, “Well, just sitting here brooding about it will get me nowhere.”
He places a kiss on my cheek, “No I suppose not.”
Standing up I stretch and decide that I should probably get to bed considering tomorrow was yet another day hard at work. Levi gets up besides me, “Well, I guess I should probably head to bed, night.”
He stands there with his hands in his pocket, “Good night. Sleep well.”
“You too, by the way if you have any problems with pain when your meds wear off then I left the Advil on the bar.”
“Thank you again, for everything.”
I smile, “It’s nothing Levi, seriously.” I start to head toward my room.
“Hey Sophie… hold on a moment.”
I turn back around to see him right in front of me, “Yes?”
“I think I know the answer to this already but I’ll ask you formally now. Sophia, would you be my girlfriend?” This is perhaps the first time I’ve seen him look more than a little nervous.
I smile and lean forward and press my lips to his. He immediately leans into it and presses his lips fully against mine. His arms come around my waist and pull me a bit closer. I can’t help but place my own hands on his shoulders. Once again that crazy, electric feeling comes back. It’s so addictive.
Breaking our heart-stopping kiss I smile and finally push away from him before things end up too far, “I think I’ll say yes.” With that I skip off into my room, shutting the door behind me. Grinning I fall into my bed, resisting the urge to squeal.

The morning came too soon for my liking. Shutting off the alarm I shuffle into the kitchen only to see Levi there at the table, reading. He had a cup of coffee in one hand, a second cup already full is placed on the table across from him. Levi looks up at me from the paper before he turns the page.
