Goonie Adventures

Chapter 1

I was sitting at my desk in the classroom of my last period class, thinking, 'This is the last day I could be sitting in this desk.' It was Friday thankfully but we are supposed to be leaving Monday. My twin brother Clarke, doesn't like the fact we are leaving but then again I don't either.  "Ok class you may put your books up, the bell will ring in a moment." The teacher said. I stood up and grabbed my stuff as the bell rang, I walked out and to my locker. "Bek!" My boyfriend Alex yelled. "Hey." I said "Hey your upset about the houses aren't you?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. "I don't get why. I mean yeah you and your brother and his weirdo friends live there but it's trash." He said. "We can't be together then. If you think that where I come from is trash then I don't want to be with you." I said. I slammed my locker and walked outside. It wasn't raining yet so I decided just to walk home. It took 15 minutes to get from school to my house. I busted through the door and ignored Mouth calling my name, his friends call him Mouth cause he talks a lot. I slammed the door in my room and climbed and sat on my roof. I looked out over Astoria. This was my home, I grew up here. "Bek? You ok?" Mouth asked. "Yeah. I'm fine." I lied. I wiped a tear and looked to the right avoiding Mouth. "Come back inside Bek." He said. "Why? We are leaving anyways. No use on getting attached anymore. Better to just stay on this roof." I said. "Please. We are goin go to Miley's." He said. "No. I'm staying here." I said. "Ok." He said. He left and I climb back in my room. I laid on my bed and my dad came in. "Sweetheart. Clarke told me your upset. What's wrong?" Dad asked. "We are being forced off our property by rich guys. It's not fair daddy!" I yelled.  "I know." He said. He hugged me then left me alone. I was getting sleepy and fell asleep...

"Becky! Wake up Becky!" Mouth yelled. "Mhm. What?" I asked. "Get your coat. It's adventure time." He said. I jumped up and grabbed my jacket and ran outside with Mouth.
