There are a number of things in this world. There are things we have long forgotten and there are things we haven't yet discovered. Everybody in this world has their own encyclopaedia. Their own history. And their own future.
So here is the past, present and future of me.
The story of everything I've ever known. Well, almost everything.

The silence of my bedroom is ruptured by the sweet, plucking sound of my guitar. In a few years I dreamt of being here. Back to the good days where I was a normal teenage girl in a normal teenagers room. The walls plastered with pictures of bands and actresses, half of which I had never heard of before. The overpowering scent of floral perfume and aerosol deodorant. My unpacked bag and clumsily tipped out contents sat in a dejected pile in the corner. Each time I caught a glimpse of it my heart sunk. No more days with nothing more to do than sit and play guitar. No sleeping in until midday with afternoons dotted with typical girl phone calls with my high school friends. It was college. And it was a huge reality check.

I trundle my lumpy suitcase over the uneven pavement. Through the bustling crowd of excited teenagers. ( half of which I'm sure were breaking the rules of the dress code ). It was a beautiful day. Everyone was chatting with their friends in little circles. I felt like a fish out of water in this absurd world. I was too young, too immature for this new world. I break away from my dream world just in time to grab my schedule and dorm and locker number and hurriedly thank the young women behind the stand. I didn't take much notice of her then. She was just another overly helpful college student with an unruly mop of strawberry blonde hair and a winning smile. I never knew back then how much she could help me now. My dorm number was 223. The top floor of the college. That wasn't the issue though. It was the fear of my roommates.

This is the beginning of it all. The story of nearly everything. A shy, quiet girl in the midst of self involved teenagers, with no idea how to act in this absurd world of society. Back then I made my boundaries, now life makes them for me.
