The secret society

    Tyron POV (point of view)

I was so lost in thought I didn't even notice they bell ring. I look around and see that all the other students are gone. I grab my backpack from the floor and walk to the doors. I realize that I have no idea where to go. Yesterday Anika told me where my classes are. I walk around and I find a glass door that says Administration. I open it and a see a large circular blue desk in the middle of a room with benches lining the walls except for the occasional plant here and there. I see two other glass doors labeled office and Closet. To the far right is a dark gray door labeled special purposes. I slowly walk up to the red haired lady behind the desk. I have had a bad experience with adults in this place. She is typing something on her hovering computer and doesn't seem to notice me. I glance at the clock on the wall and see that it was already ten minutes from when class was supposed to start. I wasn't worried that I was going to be late, I was worried that I would Anika again and from our last encounter she probably wouldn't be too happy with me. "Umm....," I say scratching my head. This is really embarrassing. "Yes," she says. She looks up from her computer with the most annoyed look ever. "Umm....I don't know know what my classes are," I say nervously. "Seriously, it's like the fifth day of school." "Second actually." "Whatever" "So....can you tell me what my classes are, because I re.." "Of course I can," she cuts me off and starts typing something. "Name," she says not looking up. "Tyron Banks." "Age." "Sixteen." "Really, your sixteen," she says. "Yeah, I think so, maybe." Why did I just say that, I mentally smack myself. "Ah uh," she says clearly not convinced. She types something and hands me a piece of paper, on it are a list of classes. "Are you just going to stand there," she says rolling her eyes. "Uhh...no." I quickly walk out of the room and all of a sudden alarms start blaring. 

Anika POV

I stare of into space not really listening to the meeting when I catch the general say "I think we should round up all those metas." I spit out the water that was in my mouth. "What," I croak. "You heard me, they have been causing problems for too long." "It's not like we are going to keep them as prisoners," Macy says waking beside him, she is the general's assistant. "Right," she says looking at the tall man in an army uniform. "Yeah, yeah, sure," he waves her off. I look over at Ace, her face a chalky white. Rock is looking down at his feet, he is probably thinking of his mother who was a meta, well she is dead now. "And I need you guys to round up the hard ones," he continues as he leans forward. It is no secret that there was tension between the government and the metas. Especially after last years' incident. "We will never do this," Ace screams at the General. She pounds her fist loudly on the table and is looking at the General like she wanted to kill him, which she probably did. Rock just keeps looking at his the feet. "Oh, really," the General says with a smirk. "I am your boss and if you don't obey we will have to make you a enemy of the state, we all know what happens then." He says towarding above her. She slowly sits down in her seat, the whole time giving him a death stare. I am wondering what happens to me. I mean I have powers like most metas but I don't even think I'm human. Will they take me? What will they do with the other metas? "We are also looking for meta spies," he says looking at Ace, oh no, ever since a month ago I have known Ace was a spy for the children's league, a group known for protecting the children of metas. She tenses up and stares at the General. "Grab her," he commands and five soldiers with sonic wave weapons that were guarding the door blast Ace. Everyone screams and covers their ears except me. It doesn't affect me for some reason. I watch as they take her away and I scream "NO". I shoot out of the chair. I can't lose my family and I fly towards the soldiers, eyes flaring. Then everything goes black.
