After watching season two today I feel bad for Alucard in a way. I could tell while they travelled and were in the manor he was kind of jealous of Trevor, whether it be of having that special connection with Sypha specifically or a female in general.
It was like he had a little flicker of feelings for her but stamped them out because he knew it would be better for everyone. Also, at the very very end of the finale he cleans up Dracula's study a little before sitting down in the chair, and he sees apparitions of his younger self and his mother and he finally lets his grief out and starts to cry and you could see on his face and the way he did it that it was the type of grieving pain that's been held in for a long time. I just really, really wanted to give him a hug partially because there's people I've lost and I know he's just a character but I'll be damned if I can't empathize with literally anything and everything.
I hope he doesn't shut out the other two as he heals but at the same time he might not have the chance to heal because the white-haired crazy bitch is sowing the seeds for season three.
PS I can't wait to see how he fixes the Castle and bunker up. I wonder if he'll keep the reanimated pets.
