LOR SAN TEKKA
The sun sets over the horizon of the planet Jakku and the two moons begin to make their ascent into the sky. Ceren sits quietly on one of the sand dunes staring into the sky. There was a nice breeze that rolled through, something uncommon for the desert planet...but surely welcomed.
An uneasy feeling settles down on the girl. A sense that something is going to happen...something bad. Her hand lightly slides over the laser sword -- that hides behind her robe -- in a way of having reassurance. She sits there for what feels like hours and by now darkness cascades over the wasteland.
Ceren turns around to look over the small village that she has been residing in for the past decade or so, Tuanul which is located in the Kelvin Ravine. It was a very peaceful village. Nothing bad usually happened...only on rare occasions. An ally of General Organa lived in the same village...she had turned to him, after the fall of Ben Solo, to seek refuge. His name was Lor San Tekka. Ceren new he had part of the map to Luke Skywalker. A small frown makes its way on to her face. She wanted to find her old master but fear took too much control over her after the slaughter.
Ceren was very outgoing as a child and through her training under Jedi Master Luke Skywalker. However, once Ben Solo went to the dark side she became more reserved. It was as if a piece of her was lost when the young Solo had gone rogue.
Off to the side of the village and behind a dune, Ceren notices something unusual from where she sits. An X-Wing has landed. A small rounded droid is brought down to the surface and a man exits the ship. Anxiety strikes through the girl as the uneasy feeling becomes heavier. The girl studies the man, curiously. He had the Resistance symbol on his jacket. A pang of sadness shoots through Ceren, General Leia Organa is apart of the resistance. Ceren hadn't seen Leia in years. Leia or Han.
Ceren stands up quietly and follows the droid and pilot. They were heading to Lor San Tekka. They must be after the map. By the time she arrived, unnoticed, at the place, she resided in...Lor San Tekka had been kind to offer her a place to stay. She rarely talked nowadays but she showed her gratitude by helping Lor San get credits and getting items that he needed.
"Well because of you...now we have a chance," an unfamiliar voice to Ceren speaks, "The General's been after this for a long time." Ceren makes her presence known and walks in after the pilot had finished talking. A warm smile makes its way onto Lor San as he looks at the girl. Ceren gives a shy smile back then turns her focus to the man.
"'The General'," Lor San laughs lightly, "To me, she's royalty." The pilot looks at Ceren quizzically but finishes his conversation with Lor San.
"Well," he chuckles lightly, "she certainly is that." He turns his attention back to Ceren and she studies him. "I'm Poe...Poe Dameron," he says putting his hand out. Ceren looks at it skeptically before shaking his hand.
