Sorry. - DD
---"What's wrong with him?"
"Ew, that's weird."
"Okay-okay back up give him space."
"Tyler! Where's Tyler!"
He'd been in a state between the unconscious and consciousness. Confused about everything, oblivious to his surroundings. That's why he didn't realize he'd gone from being in the station's bathroom to his own bedroom in the hour he's been like this. Nobody knew the war going on behind his red eyes. But when he heard that voice, that desperate cry out to him, his consciousness came back just as quickly as it left. And that face too much like his own became replaced with that of Josh Dun.
"Hey, baby can you hear me?" He whispered to the brunette as his hands pressed on either side of his face. Tyler's eyes lazily blinked open. They were red. But at least he was awake.
"Mh," Tyler moaned "We've got to stop meeting like this."
Josh huffed with a wide grin at his words.
Tyler blinked, trying to surpass the black spots still remaining in his vision. He noticed the other bodies in the room. Grace was by his feet at the foot of the bed, bracing his ankle as a sign of support. Billie stood by Josh with crossed arms and furrowed brows. Evan stood by the door with equally concerned eyes as he held onto Jenna's hand, who massaged her pregnant stomach.
"What happened?" Tyler questioned, his voice slurred with drowsiness. He tried to sit up but Josh's firm hand pushed against his chest to keep him down.
"I was hoping you could tell us," Josh replied matter-of-factly. He shifted his body so he sat beside him on the bed, feet planted on the ground. "When you didn't call I got curious so I drove to the station and asked for you. The lady said you went into the bathroom not looking great. You were on the floor, completely out of it and-" he paused before gesturing towards his arm and neck. "Out of control."
Tyler clenched his jaw.
"I covered you with my jacket and the lady helped me to the car. I told her you where sick." Josh finished glancing at Billie as she began to speak.
"Your veins were bright red, too," Billie added. "You were like, here, but not at the same time. You were talking in another language."
Tyler glanced over at Grace.
She secretly shook her head, mouthing; "No. It's not time."
Josh narrowed his eyes as he caught the discreet movement.Tyler cleared his throat before glancing back up at Joshua.
"Nothing." He replied. "It's nothing, I'm just coming down with a cold. My body just responds differently to it." He says it so smoothly, everyone believes it. Except for Josh.
