Almost a week past without any response from Starbucks. Although I had totally messed up the interview excitement had been spinning around inside me. Believe it or not, but I was really excited, I could not wait to know if I got the job.

I had to pull myself together. I mean, I was competing with little miss perfect. Blond hair, blue eyes, she was the kind everybody liked just from meeting her eyes, receiving a smile. Don't even get me stared on Dylan. It's not enough that he is hot, but he is charming as well. Thank god for putting me in the same category as those perfect people. Just thanks.

I found my self just lying in my bed again, and I had made a promise to myself to NOT to do that. I was going to recover.

I decided to spend the weekend at my grandparents house, they lived on a farm just half an hour outside London. It's surprisingly far to the next neighbor for it to be so close to the city itself.

My fingers was shaky as I dialed the number to their house. Surprised I still remembered it. I had not spoken to my grandma in nearly two years. Not my grandpa either for that sake.

«Emily Harris speaking. Who is this» It was my grandma. Her voice were just as nice as I remembered. I could almost smell her perfume as her voice made it's way in to my heart. In a second I realized how much I had missed her. Now I can't even remember what made me ignore her.

«..» I could not make a single sound.

«Hello? Anyone there?» My grandma said trough the phone, and I knew I had to hurry if I did not want her to hang up on me.

«Grams? Hi, ehh... It's Amy» I hoped she would be happy I called, but was afraid she would be mad.

«Amy? What happened? Are you okay? Are your parents okay? Have there been an accident? Are your house on fire?» She sounded scared

«No, no grams. Everything is okay. I just, I missed you. I want to spend the weekend with you and grandpa. If you want of course, and don't have plans» I was nervous, I think she could hear it too.

«Oh sweetie! Of course you can stay with us will you come already today?» Wow, she actually sounded happy!

«Yeah, I'll just pack my stuff first, something special I should bring?» I asked

«Yes, no. Just the usual? Also you remember it is clever to bring something suited to work with in the barn or garden though» I could hear her smile. I can not explain it, but I think we all know what a smile sounds like.

«Okay, yes. I think I'll take the 4.50 pm, train» Now I smiled.

«Oh, and sweetie?»

«yes?»

«We are invited to lunch over at mr. and mrs. Brown's house, so bring something nice, like a cute dress or something» She was all excited, and I wanted to be happy too. But was this going to be some kind of tea party? Cause yaiks.

«Yes, okay» I could not force myself to sound excited, but at least I tried. It's the thought that matter, right?

«You know, they have a really cute grandson too, just your age, maybe a couple of years older and he will be there, so maybe..-» I had to interrupt her at this point.

«Grams, please, just don't» I tried to sound so given, but I could not help it.

«Okay, okay, I'm sorry» She snorted.

«It's fine, I have to pack now, talk to you later, kay, bye» I smiled for my self, but I'm not sure if she could notice.

«Bye cutie-pie, see you later!» She made this kind of kissing noises before she hung up. It was clear she had not talked to me since I was fourteen. She called me «cutie-pie», gosh. She could have gone with honey, or sweetie maybe. I guess she just wanted me to feel loved or something. I'll try to be thankful.

Before I got to the packing I decided to text my mom. She and dad actually went to France for the weekend, they did not bring me. Bu-hu. I couldn't blame them though, since the trip was a gift from my aunt Annie.

«Spending the weekend at grams, loveu. See u tuesday for the meeting 2 pm. DONT FORGET!!!!!! xx Amy» sent...

Just to be nice, I sent one to my dad too. «Spending the weekend at grams. Loveu. See u tuesday, mom ll remind u. xx Amy» sent..

Then it was the packing. I am a freak, so I had to make a list of everything I was doing to pack, before packing it. And I did. It looked like this:
